Hotel in Fehendhoo
Isla Retreat features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Fehendhoo. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. If you have any questions or need anything, you can always reach out to the wonderful team and everybody will be warm and welcoming. Thank you so much, Ismail and Akoo and the whole team for this amazing holiday - it is really appreciated!

We absolutely loved our stay at Manta Reserve and we highly recommend it. This is a small property and a small island and you definitely get to rest and relax fully. The team was involving us in excursions almost daily and we had an incredible time on all of them. I also loved that Manta Reserve is a fairly new infrastructure and it definitely shows. Everything was cleaned and in mint conditions inside the bedroom.

the island on which the hotel is located is a paradise, the best of the whole baa atoll, nice approach of the hosts to ecology, an unforgettable trip to manta rays, very good food
i travelled alot, and stayed in the best world. hotels, this is by far my best stay ever
Excellent 3 night visit at Royal Island. Fantastic service from all the staff, in particular Prasad, our host, who looked after all our needs as well as Osam and Alibaba - our guides on a snorkeling trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed the band that played most night (Aga and Joyce) and some of the other activities. We had the all-inclusive option and food and drink choices were good for a short trip - if we had stayed longer, we might have tried the a la carte options. The room was very comfortable (sunset beach villa) and clean, with the beach just footsteps away. We snorkeled a bit on the house reef, which was very nice but the snorkeling trip was brilliant (saw turtles, sharks, dolphins etc). The transfer to the island was smooth - we had to wait an hour for the domestic flight to a nearby island, but were then immediately ushered to the speedboat for the final 10 minute ride. On our return, the domestic flight was going to be late, so Prasad organized us to take a speedboat to another nearby resort to catch a sea-plane direct to Male, ensuring we were on time for our international flight.
room was just amazing, we also liked a star gazing experience and underwater restaurant dining
we were on our honeymoon, best week of our liveS. the property is peaceful comfortable amazing dreamy views, the staff is so friendly so welcoming and nice . especially susantha, sami, vamshi, joseph faiz, mumtaz, siya, keisar adeel alsan and so many more. will definitely go back there . having also the olive rescue center for turtles was a blessing experience
It has been a week since we've come back from paradise on Earth. The beauty of the Maldives cannot be described, but the amazing experience of staying at Dusit Thani Maldives, which was simply perfect, can. To be perfectly honest, almost everything exceeded my (very high) expectation. The resort is a beautiful jungle/garden and cycling through it is a pleasure for all the senses (especially in the evenings, when you can smell frangipani). We have stayed in one of the ocean villas. The views were simply stunning. The villa was very spacious and cosy, and even though the furniture is not brand new, it is full of drama. Plus, they have the most comfortable pillows my head had ever touched. The big highight-and what convinced us to stay in the resort-is the Thai restaurant Benjarong with it amazing chef and staff-we were usually attended by Novika (foodie as myself, so she could provide great recommendation) and James, who was also super nice and attentive. After having dinner at Benjarong the first night, we booked all of our meals there (with the exception for the night of Eid celebration, when we dined on the beach with live local music and dancing-thanks Sharif. I especial recommend the soft shell crab with curry - powder, the lamb chops, and my favourite dish in the universe-the Thai green curry. My husband fell in love with the dessert with water chestnuts and ended up eating it twice a day 🙂 (and of course I ended up taking the Thai cooking class). Another highlight for the foodies was breakfast. while the choices of "western" food, pastries is impressive, my very favourite (and I had it every single day) was the noodles station. Also, make sure you try the passion fruit jam which is to die for. You can always ask Mona (yet another, cheerful foodie) for recommendations. Moving from the food... Above the Thai 'restaurant is the Sata bar. My husband took the cocktail making class there and we met a very gifted bar attender Amita.
An incredible value for money - very cozy and clean guesthouse with extremely hospitable staff. I loved my stay at the property. Thank you so much!
All the food were delicious, staffs are friendly, cleaning the room twice a day, and room and facilities are very clean.
Aveyla Accommodation & Liquid Salt Divers – A Memorable Stay and Dive Experience My stay at Aveyla Accommodation was fantastic. The room was very comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The guesthouse has a peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to unwind and take in the beauty of the island. Diving with Liquid Salt Divers was the highlight of my trip. The team is professional and knowledgeable, ensuring safe and exciting dives at breathtaking locations. The underwater life is amazing, and both seasoned divers and beginners will find something to love. I enjoyed my experience so much that I hope to return not just as a guest, but as a friend. The warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression, and I truly hope to stay in touch. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay and an unforgettable diving experience, I highly recommend Aveyla and Liquid Salt Divers.
SAVE THE MALDIVES. This island does a lot to preserve the paradise. Do your part and take your waste back home. Airlines provide waste bags. Do not stand on corals or touch anything Great staff, everything perfect
The best was the atmosphere, the attentive staff - almost like being part of a big family. Attention to every small detail is perfect. Amazing breakfast.
It was our second visit to this hotel. Everything remained at the same high level as on our first visit. The villa with sunset and ocean view was lovely. Good maintenance, cleanliness, service - everything was top notch. We felt the care and attention to detail in the hotel. The cuisine was varied, everything is fresh and delicious. Several restaurants with a variety of cuisine. The main advantage of the hotel is a beautiful live reef, in the last days a huge turtle came directly to the villa and was in the lagoon for a few days, it was unforgettable.
Staff were completely supportive of our requests and went beyond their roles to ensure we had a holiday that far exceeded our expectations. They were friendly, respectful and followed up on anything we suggested we might need or want. Karthik anticipated our needs as well and personally followed up on communications when we didn't respond. We feel we have been very fortunate to have stayed at BlueWorld. As well, the breakfast and dinners were outstanding. The meals were always wonderful, reflecting local cuisine which we had requested. The rooms and grounds were maintained to a very high standard standard and the garden ambience made it all such a friendly beautiful atmosphere. The Dive Centre was the bonus of our stay, with trips organised that met our dive abilities. We will be recommending BlueWorld to all our friends and family.
We stayed on one of the those water villas with a sunset view. The place was amazing, relaxing, and breath taking all at the same time. There were small sharks and sting rays right in front of our accommodation. We went there mid of April which was towards the end of summer and it rained 2/8 days that we stayed but it was still hot. They had one of these floating breakfast right in front of our room with an amazing view of the Indian Ocean and it is where I did my marriage proposal. The place was clean and the staff were really helpful. Meals were buffet style, no pork or crustaceans as the Maldives is pre dominantly Muslim. At first we were just expecting to chill out and relax in this island but there were activities and excursions as well. Tip: If you are not really into alcohol, Half Board will do you fine. Tip: Make sure your flights in and out of the Maldives matches with your seaplane flight in and out of the smaller islands as seaplanes are not 24hrs. Tip: Bring your own snorkelling equipment, it will save you some money.
a wonderful exotic luxury villa with everything you need.
The island is amazing and picture perfect and the houses and facilities are very well designed and well maintained. Our house master Yousra was an angel, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed even before we ask for it! Do not worry about leaving important items behind because whatever it is she will get it for you in no time.
