This place is such a great value - especially for solo travelers. Really enjoyed the food and the vibes - awesome staff. Compared to the other (much bigger) places in the area, this is a much more personal experience and it is much easier to connect to the other guests. E.g., they organized a bonfire for the guest - and the guests were actually attending (one of the other bigger places I stayed at had similar events, but no one showed up). They also helped me launch and land - without trying to bait you into taking classes. Shared bathrooms were very clean. Tent was simple and spacious - perfect for me. I will definitely stay at Desert Sands again on my next trip to Dakhla.

Everything was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a shuttle to and from the airport, The room was spacious and clean. We arrived very late due to flight delay and they served us dinner in the room which was very nice and unexpected. I will say that the food was excellent. Every meal was over the top, beautiful presentation and the tasted even better. The resort is quite a distance from the airport so be prepared. However the location is beautiful and I had no need to leave the resort.

White Dune Canyon has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Dakhla. Amazing experience staying one week in White Dune Canyon. Beautiful location, high quality accommodation and perfect service at all levels. The food is delicious and diverse (including vegetarian options). Good wifi, especially in the common zone, good enough to work remotely. Nice vibes overall and especially every sunset with a good soundtrack by the local dj. The kite spot is perfect, both for beginners and advanced since you basically have your own private spot that works both at high and low tide. Special mention to the kite crew for the high quality service, always being there to help and giving very welcoming and nice vibes. We will come back for sure! Thank you for everything! My time there wouldn’t have been complete without the exhilarating kiteboarding lessons from Driss. As a coach, he is patient, skilled, and incredibly encouraging. He made learning this thrilling sport not only achievable but also fun. Driss has a way of instilling confidence in his students, and I left each session feeling more accomplished and excited. Amy, the cleaning lady, was always so friendly and thorough, ensuring that everything was spotless and comfortable. Her hard work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed and added to the overall sense of care and attention to detail. A special shoutout also goes to Bashir, Abu Bakri, and Ousman, who were always ready to lend a hand with a smile. Their dedication and hard work ensured that every aspect of my stay was seamless, from the impeccably maintained rooms to the beautiful surroundings.

The Calipau Sahara hotel enjoys an beautiful location by the Dakhla bay, 1.9 miles from the airport and 3.1 miles from the city center. Staff (Manal, Bashir, Salah, Jamel and all the team under Nichola (Ghali) s leadership. We really enjoyed our stay. Swimming pool and direct access to a safe beach was good especially with the kids. Kudos to the team who is paying attention to the smallest details and answering all the guests needs and requests in seconds …many thanks to all
