This place is such a great value - especially for solo travelers. Really enjoyed the food and the vibes - awesome staff. Compared to the other (much bigger) places in the area, this is a much more personal experience and it is much easier to connect to the other guests. E.g., they organized a bonfire for the guest - and the guests were actually attending (one of the other bigger places I stayed at had similar events, but no one showed up). They also helped me launch and land - without trying to bait you into taking classes. Shared bathrooms were very clean. Tent was simple and spacious - perfect for me. I will definitely stay at Desert Sands again on my next trip to Dakhla.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a shuttle to and from the airport, The room was spacious and clean. We arrived very late due to flight delay and they served us dinner in the room which was very nice and unexpected. I will say that the food was excellent. Every meal was over the top, beautiful presentation and the tasted even better. The resort is quite a distance from the airport so be prepared. However the location is beautiful and I had no need to leave the resort.

Beautiful location, high quality accommodation and perfect service at all levels. The food is delicious and diverse (including vegetarian options). Good wifi, especially in the common zone, good enough to work remotely. Nice vibes overall and especially every sunset with a good soundtrack by the local dj. The kite spot is perfect, both for beginners and advanced since you basically have your own private spot that works both at high and low tide. Special mention to the kite crew for the high quality service, always being there to help and giving very welcoming and nice vibes. We will come back for sure! Thank you for everything! Mit Blick auf den Strand in Ad-Dakhla verfügt die Unterkunft Océan Vagabond Lassarga über eine Bar. Es gibt eine Terrasse und die Gäste können kostenlose Privatparkplätze und kostenloses WLAN nutzen. Die Lage ist echt wunderschön, 800 m Strand super zum laufen und sich zurückziehen. Das Essen war hervorragend, sehr vielfältig, international als auch national. Der Yoga Kurs morgen war das Highlight des Aufenthaltes in einem wunderschönem Ort mit einer sehr guten Yoga Lehrerin, kompetent und einfühlsam. Es gibt extra Angebote, ich habe zum Beispiel eine Sound-Bowl Session gebucht, es hat sich super gelohnt. Es gibt jeder Menge Wasser-Sport Angebote wie Kitesurfing oder Surfen. Mann muss aber für Kitesurfing schon mindestens eine Woche dafür Plans. sonst lohnt es sich nicht, wenn man Anfänger ist. Außerdem war das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war alleine und konnte ganz entspannt mit vielen anderen Gästen in Kontakt treten und schön diskutieren oder zusammen essen.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms and genuine warmth, making me feel like I was more than just a guest—I felt like family, and by the end of my stay I knew everyone by name and felt grateful for each and any one of them Hamza, the owner, has created something truly special here. His passion for hospitality shines through every detail, and it's clear that he has poured his heart and soul into making North Lagoon a haven for travelers. I am deeply grateful for his incredible generosity and the care he took to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was arranging activities, offering local tips, or simply chatting, Hamza's warmth made my stay feel even more personalized and special. The food at North Lagoon was really, really good—every meal was a delight, showcasing the local flavors and fresh ingredients. It was clear that a lot of love and expertise went into every dish, making dining here a highlight of my stay. My time there wouldn’t have been complete without the exhilarating kiteboarding lessons from Driss. As a coach, he is patient, skilled, and incredibly encouraging. He made learning this thrilling sport not only achievable but also fun. Driss has a way of instilling confidence in his students, and I left each session feeling more accomplished and excited. Amy, the cleaning lady, was always so friendly and thorough, ensuring that everything was spotless and comfortable. Her hard work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed and added to the overall sense of care and attention to detail. A special shoutout also goes to Bashir, Abu Bakri, and Ousman, who were always ready to lend a hand with a smile. Their dedication and hard work ensured that every aspect of my stay was seamless, from the impeccably maintained rooms to the beautiful surroundings.

The Calipau Sahara hotel enjoys an idyllic location by the Dakhla bay, 3 kilometres from the airport and 5 kilometres from the city centre. Staff (Manal, Bashir, Salah, Jamel and all the team under Nichola (Ghali) s leadership. We really enjoyed our stay. Swimming pool and direct access to a safe beach was good especially with the kids. Kudos to the team who is paying attention to the smallest details and answering all the guests needs and requests in seconds …many thanks to all
