This log cabin is located in a very peaceful and scenic country setting with access to a boat on a beautiful lake. The cabin has a very spacious and "open" living room/dining room/kitchen area. The kitchen has a microwave, small refrigerator, 2-burner stove cook top, and the basic supplies for preparing meals, i.e. pots/pans, utensils, plates, glasses, etc. There is a half bath and sauna available on the main floor. A dream house located in the middle of nature. We have our own private lake to swim and to enjoy. If you like peaceful and quiet places, this is the house to stay in. A short ride (10 minutes by car) from the beautiful medieval town of Kuldiga.
The location is good, the interior is very original and functional, with a lot of attention to the details. The staff is friendly and flexible. The parking lot was very tiny, but somehow everyone fitted in.

From start till end of our overnight stay at the Maras Manor was the enjoyable experience bringing us back in time. Thanks to the hospitality of the owners the place is a must visit venue visiting Kurzeme.

This place is absolutely breathtaking! The house itself was perfectly set up with everything you could need and more. A coffee machine was a lovely bonus! It was comfortable, luxurious, private, peaceful and cosy. The bathroom and sauna/wet room area was amazing - we wished we had more time to enjoy them. One night was definitely not enough to fully appreciate all the joys available. A totally perfect stay.
