The staff we very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We stayed in room 132, it doesn't look directly out onto the river but you can see the castle from your window which was nice. It is next to the day spa but we were not disturbed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was nice but the shower is a little small. The bathroom provides nice smelling shower wash and basic toiletries. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. They provide a good selection of fresh hot & cold food for breakfast. There is a small gym and saunas in the spa area and a giant chest board outside. There is an outside terrace and comfortable seating by the river. I wish we had stayed longer. It is such a relaxing environment and you can really enjoy nature. Free parking. You can walk up to the castle if you are fit otherwise just jump in your car. A must stay

Hotel Victor Hugo is situated in the heart of the small town Vianden. There is a sunny terrace along the Our River, a wellness area and a playground for kids. Free WiFi is available in all areas. I liked everything :) Location is as central as it gets (well, the town is very small). A public parking is nearby. The room was spacious and very comfortable, the staff exceptionally nice and friendly. Very satisfied; would like to come back in the future, for a longer stay :)
