This traditional family-run hotel is located in the spa town of Bollendorf. Amazing room- a suite that included a living area opening onto a balcony. Stunning full picture window of the hills. Comfortable mattress (that you can flip to adjust firmness). Lovely in-room amenities (bathrobes, slippers, beverages, bath0 and a really well designed room (easy to have a spot for everything that made sense and was functional). Amazing location- I went for a run in the Grun Holle (Green Hell) rock formation in the morning. Great spa amenities (regular sauna, infared sauna, indoor pool). Restaurant on site. Friendly staff who were efficient and got their jobs done. I would recommend this stay to anyone. Breakfast had plenty of choices for me and they even made me a soft boiled egg on demand. I had almost no issues here!

Rustic hotel with romantic atmosphere in a renovated house dating from 1683. Each of our 8 rooms, with shower, toilet and tv, match traditional stone construction with modern comforts. Excellent service in the hotel. Rooms are perfectly comfortable. The restaurant is very popular and is used by locals as well. Superbly prepared meat dishes and delicious salads. The gratin was perfect as well.

Cocoon Hotel La Rive ligger omgitt av skogen ved bredden av elven Sauer og ved foten av Bourscheid slott. What a lovely hotel. The location is beautiful, right on the river below Bourscheid castle. The staff we very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We stayed in room 132, it doesn't look directly out onto the river but you can see the castle from your window which was nice. It is next to the day spa but we were not disturbed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was nice but the shower is a little small. The bathroom provides nice smelling shower wash and basic toiletries. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. They provide a good selection of fresh hot & cold food for breakfast. There is a small gym and saunas in the spa area and a giant chest board outside. There is an outside terrace and comfortable seating by the river. I wish we had stayed longer. It is such a relaxing environment and you can really enjoy nature. Free parking. You can walk up to the castle if you are fit otherwise just jump in your car. A must stay

We were traveling on scooters across Europe and had a breakdown but the hotel waited for us to arrive although we were very late it was really appreciated 👍
