Situated in Pinnawala, 32 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, The Grand Walawwa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Very helpful staff, lovely pool and restaurant. The room was comfortable and spacious with great amenities. We loved our stay. We visited the amazing Elephant Freedom Project which was only 13 minutes away.

Moksha at Kitulgala - Rainforest Boutique Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Kitulgala. We spent 3 nights at Moksha and I have to say it truly exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were super comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The chef team (Sampath, Thank, Manila and Sumudu) were amazing, we told them one time about a something we ate in the market while in Colombo and they made us that dessert for dinner that same day. That's how far and beyond they went for us and every day since they would make us special treats not even on the menu. We did so many activities as well so it wasn't just that the hotel was wonderful but there was so much to do around the area. We went zip lining, canyoning, white water rafting and waterfall abseiling and it was all arranged by the hotel with a very well trained team. I can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone who's looking to just relax or for adventure or a bit of both. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The spacious and spotless bathroom came fully equipped with essentials like bathroom flip-flops, dental kits, and a hairdryer, ensuring a comfortable experience. Dining Experience: Although the hotel currently serves only breakfast as they are new to the business, they go above and beyond to assist with ordering and serving lunch or dinner from nearby options. Breakfast was a highlight, served on the rooftop beside the small infinity pool. The setting was serene, complemented by soft music. The meal included a fresh fruit platter, fruit juice, milk rice, chicken with sambol, and a choice of tea or coffee. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were exceptionally supportive and friendly, always ready to assist at any hour. Their attentiveness and willingness to ensure a seamless stay were commendable.

Amazing hotel in the middle of nowhere surrounded by forest. You arrive by boat and are transported into a tranquil calm. The staff are fantastic, especially Badoil in the restaurant. Food is delicious. They couldn't do more to please.

Situated in Kegalle, 32 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, Rosyth Estate House features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Rosyth Estate is a wonderful little hotel in the middle of nowhere. The team was extremely welcoming and did go above and beyond, even though we only stayed there for one night. Special kudos to the best chicken curry we had ever!

Located right opposite Ma-Oya River, guests at Hotel Elephant Park - NEW DEAL! Half Off Airport Pickups Available can watch elephants from their rooms. It has a restaurant and offers room service. We have only positive things to say about this place. We recently stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The rooms were neat and clean. The bathroom was nice and modern, and had everything you needed. We got the room 206, and even though we didn't book a room with river-view, we could still see the river. Such a bonus. Sleeping here was lovely and comfortable. The house-keeping was excellent, and they made sure the surroundings were always tidy and clean.. they also provided us with water bottles everyday in the room and were most helpful if we needed anything. The staff was excellent. Everyone's so friendly and helpful.. They know the area well, and is kind to give suggestions. The best part of staying at the hotel was for sure the elephant-experience. In the morning, go for breakfast before 8.30. The elephants will walk from the orphanage to the river around 8.30. Such a lovely experience. We were lucky enough to enjoy the twins for an hour playing around in the river. The staff is very respectful toward the animals, and will not allow you to feed them. Which is good. The waiter at the restaurant was kind to tell us, that more elephants would come to the river around 10. We decided to enjoy the view from the pool area. And it was pure joy. Around 25 elephants walking around the river, playing and bathing. For hours.. We highly recommend the hotel, if you want to experience the beautiful elephants while staying in a nice hotel.. You for sure have the best view from here.

I love the kind attention and support given, even I arrived late and they were so willing to wait for me and they guided me. The location was perfect just some steps away from the river the elephants take their daily baths.
