We LOVED the sun house, even though we have always stayed in really nice places in Sri Lanka, this was by far the best. The location is great, you pay around 200 LKR to go to Galle Fort. The garden and the house itself is beautiful. The food was great, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Really good value for money and super tasty. And the staff was simply amazing. There was always someone around and usually we even didn’t have to say anything- when we left the room, they would think of cleaning our room, if we lay down by the pool they would bring water. They remember all our wishes for breakfast (eg no bananas) and we never had to ask for it again. I want to particularly point out the service of Priyantha and Tharindu, they were lovely and always had a nice story to tell or a recommendation to give. Thank you so much for making our stay special

Our stay at Villa Thamburu was absolutely perfect. The villa is absolutely beautiful and the facilities / rooms are fantastic. The staff are the biggest asset - they were so attentive and made our stay really special by always going above and beyond for us. The restaurant is also brilliant and we particularly loved the garden and pool areas. It feels really private and luxurious so we could not ask for more.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, they will help with any questions: transfers, scooter rentals, etc. Not deep but big enough bright pool with clean water. The houses are spacious with a magnificent authentic interior. Delicious cuisine (mostly healthy food). I am very pleased with every day of my stay in this wonderful place, strongly recommend it!

From the moment we booked the hotel staff looked after us right up until the point that we ended our trip. They took excellent care of us. Nothing was too much trouble including getting plasters and making a diabetic breakfast for me. Rooms were stunning and we even visited the Art shop and purchased some beautiful items. A lovely touch was checking we arrived home safe after leaving Sri Lanka!

Nice and clean ocean coast. Bustling but not crowded place with friendly local people. Beutiful nature and many animals. The nearby Galle and the White tea plantation are unmissable.
Unawatuna is a favorite destination for young people and families. Almost every night there is a party somewhere. Many bar's, restaurant's. A lot of things can be done: diving, snorkeling, jet ski, massage (Sanctuary Spa!), yoga. Galle city is very close easy to reach with tuk-tuk or local bus. Galle Fort is the old part of the city with many buildings of Dutch vintage. Cozy streets with museums, restaurants, bars, shops. From Unawatuna it is worth to do nearby excursions because there are many attractions: Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwa beach, Meetiyagoda (Moonstone mine) Tewatta (Cunami museum), Wijaya beach, Weligama, Mirissa.
Galle
Az apartman Galle nyugodt részén található. Csöndes, jól lehet pihenni. Külön tetszett, hogy az apartmanházat elől-hátul portás figyelte. A part kis gyermekekkel nagyon jó mivel nincsenek sokan a parton, pár méterre kisebb hullámos partrészt találtunk. Az Unawutai strandra 1500 rúpiáért elvitt a tuk-tuk. Az étteremben finomakat ettünk. A tulajdonos figyelmes volt, segített ha szükségünk volt rá. Azt is megengedte, hogy előbb elfoglaljuk az apartmant. Távozáskor ajándékot kaptunk a tulajdonostól.
Hikkaduwa
A házigazda nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. Nekem tetszett az elhelyezkedés a szállás kivitelezése, a medence. Mindenben igyekeztek kiszolgálni pl volt több szobája lehetett választani felár nélkül. Minden volt a közelben ha először jössz Srí Lankara nyugodtan hagyatkoz a házigazda ötleteire az árai is jók voltak. Csak javasolni tudom biztosan visszatérünk még. Élveztük a tenger hullámait és a hangját. Ha úszni szeretnél jungle beach és Gallé. Ezeket mindenképp javaslom.
Kényelmes,modern szállodai szoba, kedves személyzettel, recepcióval. Van forró zuhany erős vízsugárral, zuhanyfülkében. Tiszta szoba és fürdőszoba. Halk, nem hallani az utca zaját ha be van csukva az ajtó. A szobában légkondi működik. Motorral könnyen elérhető néhány étterem és Galle óvárosa is. 2 éjszakát foglaltunk itt és mindennel elégedettek voltunk. 🥰☺️🙏

An amazing place with an amazing view. Staff was very supportive and friendly. They attended all our needs even in the harsh weather. I should specially mention and thank Yasas/ Assistant team leader of theirs. He supported in every way he can. An asset to the hotel.

Loved my stay here. Good vibe in rooms, comfortable bed, absolutely loved the Aqua deluxe room which had an amazing sea view. We were upgraded free of charge to a nicer room which we really appreciate on behalf. Tasty English breakfast in a lovely restaurant. Friendly and professional service provided by the staff. Definitely will be back again !!!
