Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Excellent view from the balcony facing Fuji-san and Kawaguchiko. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. The beef shabu-shabu served at the restaurant was exceptional too! And of course, the onsens - one outdoor and one indoor, plus the sauna room, all added to what made it a wonderful stay for my fiancé and I.

Located within 2.8 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 3 km of Lake Kawaguchi, JINYA Fujikawaguchiko provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Fujikawaguchiko. Jinya was so cosy and larger than expected. There was only 2 of us but they had 3 beds plus a pull out couch. It was a little Oasis after coming from hectic Tokyo. Wish we had stayed another night here. Just a short walk from the station, restaurants, 7/11.

Megu was very helpful, in very good English. All the staff were super friendly. Is also right next to the station so really a perfect spot. To top of off, they kept our bags in storage from 9:00 until 19:00 so we had another full day exploring!

Hokuto
Staff is lovely, going above and beyond. We accidentally left behind some items when we checked out and the hotel is sending those items to us through the mail. As before, on our first visit here, the staff was SO kind to us and our dog. The breakfast is amazing and there are so many things to do in this part of Yamanashi. Having an onsen in the hotel is so nice after a day of hiking. Uchu brewing down the hill is a perk as well...
it was The worst place I have ever stay in Yamanashi there was not kind people from the beginning they started money money money I like the place that’s why I booked this hotel but the people were money people I have ever met in this hotel so I didn’t like this place hope if you want to save your money and enjoyment please do not stay this place it looks clean nice but people are waiting for just two disturb your trip thank you…..
Fujiyoshida
In order to get to the villa, you have to go uphill so if you have big luggages, I’d definitely recommend reserving a taxi (ask the hotel to do so because you need a jp phone number to do so). Also, Yamanashi in general is not pedestrian friendly; barely any pedestrian sidewalks and tons of cars that you share the road with on walks.
Very good value for money. Great location, not far from station and Maizuru Castle. Clean, nice room with big windows, cosy shared kitchen. Air conditioner worked perfectly. We didn't meet staff in person, but during our stay they arranged a nice opportunity for hotel guests to buy delicious Yamanashi peaches for a good price.
The location was good! Walkable to nice surroundings. The room I got was spacious enough for a single person. The hotel also offers free shuttle bus services to/fro from Kawaguchiko station. Excellent staff who are helpful. The breakfast was super good! Especially love the Yamanashi peach jelly and mini apple pie.
Excellent onsen, clean, traditional and tattoo friendly. The room was nice and simple, with a great view of the Lake and Mt Fuji. bed mats were comfy. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.
The hotel is very conveniently located near quite a few restaurants, as well as Book Off!, which is a great place to find some secondhand vintage consoles and luxury handbags (although the prices aren't very competitive). There is ample parking even though it looks like there are only a few spaces in the front. The hotel is made up of two buildings and the rest of the car park spaces are around the corner behind the main building. The breakfast is lovely and relatively inexpensive at 1300 yen for all you can eat. We had a rental car so I cannot comment on convenience to public transport. There is also an open air terrace on each floor where you can take some pictures of Mt Fuji, although you can take pictures of Mt Fuji from virtually anywhere in this town. :)
The view was great - right smack in front of Mt Fuji! The breakfast was yummy especially the curry rice.
The room was beautiful and well kept, it was a very cool experience for Americans who have never seen a traditional Japanese style accommodation. The view of Mount Fuji from the roof was worth the walk up the stairs and the Onsen was clean and beautiful. Also when you check in the lake front viewing area with snacks was just the place to warm up and watch the beautiful area.

Ordered extra breakfast, Fuji from the restaurant window was amazing. It was very close and majestic, unlike the view from the shore of Lake Kawaguchi. I recommend the breakfast included.
Excellent Onsen, staff and meals (breakfast and dinner). Our host Sara was very nice to make us feel welcome. The hotel has a beautiful view to the lake and to the Fuji and is easily accessible from the station by foot or the complementary shuttle service.

The size of the cabin and equipments are really good.
Each room has a view of the Kofu Basin, Mt fuji. Mesmerising view of the city after sundown, made me sit there and gaze upon the landscape. Truly one of the top 3 "new" views of Japan. Onsen has a good view of Mt Fuji, reccomended to go during sunrise or sundown to gaze upon the city. Should have booked with meals as there are minimal places open early in the morning. Free coffee is avaliable in the morning at the front terrace of the hotel, which you could sit and gaze upon the city and sunrise.
