Beautiful large room, spotless clean with many modern touches, but also incorporating elements of a traditional japanese room which tipycally uses wood as a construction material. The hotel is located right in the middle of the former merchants quarter, surrounded by the most beautiful streets of Takayama. The train station is just 15 min away by foot. I wish i would have stayed more.

Indoor and outdoor Natural Onsen on the top floor with a coin laundry room and vending machines. The tv in the room has information on the congestion situation at the onsen. There is also a pillow room on certain floors with different types of pillows you can choose from. Rooms are spacious and guests are given a nice toiletry pouch that you can bring back. Two sets of lounge wear and 2 sets of towels are provided. One of the better types of hair dryer provided by a hotel. Overall the attention to detail and facilities provided makes it a great place to stay. Will definitely choose to stay here again if we’re in Shizuoka again.
