The inside in ancient wood is very cosy, every object has been chosen with care and taste. Very comfortable space, lovely fresh flowers in every room. My host, Yamane San was very welcoming, kind and helpful. Thank you for everything 🙌🏻 Delicious breakfast in an old soy brewery next door with the kindest host. I can only highly recommend Rita Izumo when staying in Izumo !

A few convenience stores are close by too. You leave your shoes in lockers near reception as the hotel has tatami floors. It was very cold in Matsue when I was there (lots of snow) but the room was nice and warm.
