The staff are very friendly. They have a bus to pick you up from the pier to take you to the hotel and I arrived early for the check in, they even got a car to send to an attraction on the island where I can walk around first before I come back to check in. The hotel might seem pricey but it is a great value for what you get. The breakfast and kaiseki dinner are included. I used to live in Japan and dined at many kaiseki restaurants and this has to be one of the best. Every little thing was cooked to perfection. The menu was also seasonal.
