2 km from Morioka Station, Hotel Mazarium is situated in Morioka and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Great modern hotel, the rooms were nicely laid out with great facilities and a nice balcony and view. The staff were extremely friendly and keen to speak English. There is a bar/cafe beside the lobby that has occasional live musical performances and serves wonderful food and coffee, the staff here were also very polite and friendly - a running theme of most places in Morioka but I wanted to highlight it here. Fantastic restaurant bar on the floor beneath and great street food spots on the ground floor. The location is good with the bus station being directly beneath the hotel and the train station a short walk/taxi ride at the end of the road. Highly recommend, loved my stay here and it is definitely on my list for the next time I visit.
