You will find here wild and wide spaces, and a mountain range with absolutely breathtaking scenery with a special highlight to the Asahidake mountain (there is a cable car), which is the highest peak in Hokkaido (approx. 2,600 meters I think). Onsen, skiing, trekking, nature, you name it. This place has it all, and in a top-notch class. Please, just visit there! (disclaimer: for good or bad, this place is not as crowded or agitated as the neighbor Furano).
Sapporo é uma cidade muito agradável e tranquila. Terça feira de sol, fui do hotel caminhando até o Jardim Botânico Hokkaido University, Um lugar lindo cheio de flores e bosques maravilhosos. No dia anterior, havia visitado Otaru de trem. Muito simpático, com construções bem diferentes dos outros lugares que visitei. A maioria são prédios no estilo ocidental antigo e o forte do local é a fabricação e comércio de peças de vidro. Almocei no New Sanko o prato Gengis Kan Lamp. Delicioso! Lindo também é o Otaru Unga, famoso canal que dizem, fica mais bonito ao entardecer, no inverno com a calçada coberta de neve e as luzes refletidas nas águas do canal.

The breakfast and dinner buffet offers a good spread. The downside is the menu never changes. One may get bored if you stayed more than 2 nights. The rooms are clean and offers a big monitor for those who may need to work while on vacation. Room is clean too.

The location is good. It is about an 8-minute walk from Higashimuroran Station. You need to pay attention to prevent slipping on snowy days. The room is clean and tidy, and the service is thoughtful.
