It was also our first time experiencing snow, so it made the place even cozier. The beds were large and in the Bushigura room we stayed in there were two toilets. The stone bath was so nice to relax in. There were other comments saying that it gets cold in there, but with the underfloor heating on, it felt fine to us. The breakfast was amazing, so be prepared to eat a lot! (I was sick our second morning and felt upset I couldn't eat it.) The staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful, even if we had a bit of trouble communicating.

We stayed for one night after hotel-hopping quite a bit in Japan, and this place was immediately put on our list of favorite ones. Well maintained and super-clean and modern. The room had a large desk where you could work, really comfy bed, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast area had such a nice and relaxed atmosphere. There was even a public bath available for the guests! Free of charge! I can't believe this was the cheapest hotel we stayed at. Such a wonderful hotel.

Overall, it was nothing short of an amazing stay. The check in was swift, room was roomy with many nice amenities, the entire facility was spotless, and the hot spring with a great view was simply superb! They also have a variety of souvenir shops, 4 restaurants and one coffee shot which we enjoyed taking local foods. The hotel was very close to the station for an easy access. Wish we have a few more nights to enjoy. Nonetheless, this all happened by the serious effort from the entire staffs who take credit for our awesome stay. For a traveler carrying a large suitcase, the room was big enough lay it down and open. Despite the fact that the hotel was located right next to the train track, the room was very quiet and the firm bed was excellent to give us a good night sleep. Again, thank you very much once again for all staffs to make our stay as comfortable as it get.
