I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Evara Hills during my visit to Gangtok, and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all modern amenities. The housekeeping staff was attentive and made sure the rooms were spotless every day. What stood out the most was the warmth and hospitality of the hotel staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and assisted with everything we needed. They were knowledgeable about local attractions and even helped us arrange transportation and guided tours. The food at the in-house restaurant was another highlight. The menu featured a mix of local Sikkimese cuisine and other Indian dishes, all of which were delicious and freshly prepared. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently situated, offering easy access to popular tourist spots such as MG Marg and the Enchey Monastery. Despite being close to the city's main attractions, it provided a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Overall, Evara Hills in Gangtok is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I would gladly return on my next visit and highly recommend it to fellow travelers!

Pelling's charm lies in it's views and remoteness. You can easily climb to the two monasteries at either end of the town to enjoy more wonderful views and appreciate the Buddhist culture or you can arrange a tour to Yoksom and other places of interest in West Sikkim. Pelling is a “taster” before you plan some real trekking in the Himalayas.
Gangtok is not something worth to spend much time in. Busy, dusty, noisy and unorganised. It is only to be used as a stop to receive permits and arrange your further trip in Sikkim
Nice city but head away if you're looking for the real beauty and serenity that Sikkim has to offer.
I always like travelling to Sikkim, the people are very friendly and welcoming. Gangtok has a good culture of music. There are lots of places to visit in each part of Sikkim
I highly recommend a trip to the city of Gangtok. It has spectacular scenery! Use the ropeway for a great viewing opportunity. Visit the Tibetan centre situated near the ropeway terminus. Trekkers are best advised to travel from here to Western Sikkim as it offers some fantastic trekking opportunities and the chance to walk through beautiful valleys and remote villages. A great way to see the fauna and flora and to experience the splendour of the magnificant Himalayas! Foreigners are reminded that a restricted permit is reqquired for entry into Sikkim, which can be obtained for free from the border posts, Sikkim Government tourist offiices or from all major Indian Airports. Do not forget to bring some passport sized photo's with you.

The Manager & The Entire Team Made Sure We Had A Fabulous Stay Here. The Morning Buffet Was Sumptuous. The Idli, Dosa, Pongal, Upma, Chutney and Dosas, Were Very Well Prepared. I Can Say This Since I Am Based Out Of South Of India. Except For The Distance From The City.... This Property Hits All The Spots !!! Overall A Wonderful Experience.
We were there for just one day and the hotel was near to the MG road , one of the main tourist destination of Gangtok. The hotel can be easily reached from the main taxi stand. The manager was very helpful regarding the information about the city. The cost of the room was fair enough for the facility they provide. They even provide breakfast which i believe was a nice gesture. Overall stay was good. I hope to visit Sikkim during snowfall time and i would love to stay again in this hotel.
Loved the stay for 3 days. The staff is amazing and friendly. They even upgraded our stay and made it even more happening. As soon as you wake up in the morning, you get to see the amazing view of the mountains. What else is needed. I want to give them a shoutout for their food. Too good. Excellent experience and I'm gonna recommend it to everyone. Whenever I am visiting Sikkim-Gangtok, Mount Himalayan hotel is the one I would choose. Cheers!

Our first time in Sikkim, we hadn't had a plan on what and where to go, but getting into tag along was the best thing in the trip. Manisha, our host was really good and had a lot of suggestions on where and how to go. Went out of her way to help us plan our trip and it was great. The hostel is super good, amenities as well. Neat and all the staff are really good. The travel cafe downstairs serves good food.
Room was large. Hotel was clean. Food was available and with some variety. It was the only hotel in sikkim to abide by booking.com and not give us grief over the booking. And the only hotel/homestay we stayed at with something to eat that was not spicy, potatoes or rice. The staff was helpful too. It really is about a 10 minute walk from Buddha park and about a km from the central part of Ravangla.
Our stay at Namdul Boutique Hotel was superb. Mr. Sudip Chatterjee, the owner, provided invaluable assistance for our trip to Gangtok, Sikkim. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with prompt room service. Delicious dinners and cooperative staff made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway. Our stay at THE APARTMENT was one of the best experience we had in Sikkim. We are very impressed with the place and the service. This is gonna be our choice of stay for every time we visit Sikkim. Hotel location was very near to city center yet at some distance to keep separate from crowd and rush. Manager was very helpful and supportive for guiding us about sikkim tour, staff was very helpful and prompt (special mention for Mr. Shiva). Rooms were clean and spacious. Overall great experience during the stay.
Hotel Shambhala was beyond my expectation. Hotel owner Mr. Karna and his wife are very friendly. They arranged vehicle for our entire Sikkim trip at very reasonable rate. Very much satisfied. I would recommend to everyone. very close to M G Road and Vajra taxi stand.

We were four relative visited different attractive place in Pelling, Sikkim in India and it was our great experience. We enjoyed more and our home stay was good for leaving and they easily hire car for our tour. Food and staffs are very polite and so nice .
We visited Sikkim and were impressed by how well the hotel managed everything for us, making our departure a happy one. One thing I really appreciate about this hotel is their willingness to accommodate all of our requests, even when they seem impossible.
The behavior of the hotel staff is very polite and supportive. They helped in booking tours for North Sikkim and Nathula at a reasonable price. Complementary breakfast is also very good both in taste and quantity. Lastly the hotel price is economical.
The staff were very helpful. Their Manager was always available on call and catered to all our needs. We stayed in a family room and the room was very spacious. After staying in few other hotels in sikkim, we found this hotel a welcome relief.

It's an adventure youth party hostel and I vibed well here. The owners went out of their way to offer help... like made me an early morning breakfast and lend me a jacket for a trip to North sikkim.
