It was our 1st time in Kaziranga and they provided all information they had and helped us efficiently plan our safaris. They booked our jeep safaris and elephant safari and the pick up was arranged from the hotel itself. The staffs in the hotel Sumi and Pranjit went all the way to make our stay comfortable. They helped us when we had to change the dates of our stay over phone. They arranged pick-up from bus stop and helped with all the safari bookings. The hotel location is nearby the central zone gate. The entrance to the orchid national park is nearby as well. The hotel is surrounded by serene paddy fields and the view from the hotel is totally beautiful. We walked around the fields and the village nearby and it felt wonderful. Coming from cities, it felt good to be able to see the stars in the beautiful night sky for a change. The hotel room was very spacious and clean, included all amenities, the bathroom was clean and nice with a bathtub as well. The smart TV worked well. The hotel room was exactly as shown in the pictures. Morning view of the fields from the balcony was worth it. Overall we loved their hospitality and their sweet gesture while leaving. We'd 100% recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Kaziranga.

The Kamakhya temple is a must-visit. We visited Sualkuchi which is the home of Assam Silk, and a must for silk-saree buffs. One of the shop owners was kind enough to open a (cottage) industry and show us how silk is woven, even though it was closed for Bihu. Also visited Hayagriva Madhava Temple. Apart from religious significance, there isn't much to see there. We couldn't visit anything more than that. Also missed out on the Bihu festivities.
Tezpur is a mid sized town well connected with Guwahati, it is a business hub because of its strategic location as the gateway to Western Arunachal Pradesh & Nagaland. From the Tourism point of view, it is in close proximity to quite a few Reserve forests famous for wild life, flora & fauna in the lower foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. All kinds of food are available easily. Weather is moderate all year except for the rainy season. Quite a few good hotels to halt and overnight stay. One can take a rickshaw or walk around to find fresh fruit markets, chinese take-away shops, hamburger or chicken rolls or a couple of pizza shops. Don't miss the local tea stalls which sell excellent Assam CTC tea at a throw away price. Its a quiet town where you can indulge in exotic fruits which are tropical as well as which come down from the hills. During season you will get Peaches n oranges to thrive upon. Many tour operators around the Cemetry area will offer you Tour packages to the various tour options including the Kaziranga Rhino trip. Wi Fi is available at most standard hotels. Many local restaurants offer typical Indian (Assamese) Rice thali with veg/fish/chicken/mutton/egg options. Prices range from Rs. 70 for veg meal, 120 for fish meal ( Rohu), or Rs.120 for chicken thali.. unlimited rice dal veg, all inclusive. People are friendly. I will not forget the tea in local tea shop, splendid duars CTC flavour (but with milk... for my foreign friends).. just for Rs.5 a cup. I didn't get satisfied by just one cup. Its wonderful flavour CTC Assam Tea/ Try it early in the morning. Fresh milk is used then for making the tea. Its awesome.
You will get bus and suto services regularly. But due to traffic the bus service was very slow and auto rates are very high. Local people are friendly and helpful. You will get mix cuisines on your choice. Try to stay near Borah Petrol pump. That's a happening place. Kamikaze will be an exciting place to booze. If you like to offer puja to Kamakhya temple, start early in the morning and no need to hire vehicle. Don't buy mekhla or sarees from any of the local shop. visit assam govt. shops.
In some ways lack of Tower blocks gives this city a homely feel. Easy to get around. We booked a private car through Assam tourism. The driver was brilliant. Cost effective for what we needed. Must visit kamakhya temple, drive up to Shillong. Perfect gateway to North Bengal.
Very clean city. Wide roads. Less traffic. Docile and helpful citizens. Must go to place if one is planning trip to Assam. "Manpasand Sweets" is a must go to shop in the main market.
Guwahati is a awesome place and specially Assam state zoo cum Botanical garden is my favourite place. Aloo pitika and Maasor tenga is my favourite dish.It's a city of soul. I love the place and I hope you will also like it.
A vibrant city, which is both... Contemporary and Classic. The KAMAKHYA and Ugraa Uma Shakti Perth, leaves one mesmerized and filled with Awe. We had a very pleasant experience at the Ganesh Temple at Latasil. Mesmerising Effect. When the Management Secratery realised we were from another state, he went out of his way to make us feel so important. Every month on CHATURTHI, a special prayer is organised at 12 noon, followed by Bhog Prasad, consisting of Kitchdi and Kheer. It's the best I have ever had. And we were given enough Prasad to last us for Lunch, Dinner and next morning Breakfast. This was true Assamese Hospitality. I could go on and on. Come here at least once in your life time

I stayed there for two nights in December 2024. I had a pleasant experience. It's right in the heart of the city, and everything seems so nearby. I had one of my dinners in the hotel's restaurant located on the ground floor and chose the option of an Assamese Thali. The Thali served was of great taste and satisfying. Overall, it's a good place to stay. However, there is room for improvement with the provided Wi-Fi as it does not work well most of the time.
Staff at reception were friendly and provided exceptional service. The staff at breakfast and dinner tables were also friendly and no request was too much for them. The food options were great. For South Indian food in Assam, the options and taste were great.I forgot my Rudraksh mala and called on the way to the airport, and the staff took effort to locate it. and ensured it was handed over to a driver I organised to hand deliver at the airport. Exceptional service!

Dipankar and his wife create a perfect environment for the hostel. You have your own space but it also has a very homely feel🤗. You have the option to have a delicious Assamese home cooked meal in the evenings and I also rented a bike to explore for the day. It is peaceful and has a beautiful garden. We had an amazing stay at the Kaziranga Address. The hotel is clean, modern, convenient and in a perfect location just away from the busy streets. Amazing views of Assam from the balcony. The staff were the kindest we’ve had in India in 2 years (Shumi was amazing with our baby), and the food was brilliant. I will recommend this hotel over and over again.
Very friendly staff, the hotel is quite new and comfortable. Everything went very well, even with our 3 kids. Only little issue is that the hot water wasn't working in the showers, but they provided buckets of warm water on demand and very swiftly. Breakfast was nice as well! Thanks for a comfortable first night in Assam at the start of our trip.

This place is located in an Awesome location surrounded by hills and river on one side. Swiss Tents are clean. Owners himself hosts the guests and takes outmost care of them. Food served is in Assamese flavor and unlike rest of India is less spicy. A must visit location for nature lovers.
I like it's environment with bamboo cottages...Enjoy a lot in natural environment like tea garden,fresh air,Birds... It's comfortable and in affordable price. It's food is good as they provide ethnic foods of Assam. The staff of the hotel is very friendly.
