In the past 15 years I travelled a lot in Israel and the First Light Cabins are definetely among the best places I stayed at. The Cabins are very well maintained, very clean, offer a lot of privacy and have a superb view to the Sea of Galilee. The host, Shalom, is very charming, generous and helpful. The whole place and the village is very peaceful and inspiring. In the neighbor village of Shefer you find a very good Fallafel-Stand. Very good hiking in the area (e.g., Nahal Amud, Parod Falls, Mount Meron).

What a wonderful experience. Stepping out on the terrace in the morning with a coffee (everything available, really great!) with the view of the mountains of Galilee with roosters screaming and chickens clucking. The village is small, very religious and very calm. The Sea of Galilee very close by car. The hosts Shahaf and Ellie were very eager and did everything to make us feel at home. Crawling into bed in the evenings was urgemütlich. The cleanliness for Israeli standards extremely good! Thank you! :-)

Lovely view of sea of Galilee. Beautiful location. Better with a car not easy location if your disabled . It was kind the host left ice pops and coffee and other things like paper towels and rice cakes. But sadly there was a lot more paper towls than toilet paper. If the host got rid of the ants and fixed the hot water and got rid of that grumpy neighbor that had no sympathy when i was bitten by a dog it would have been a lot better. The neighbor even was upset when i coughed.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. We were so supported by them. All they recommended were very good, including the restaurant within a 5-minute walk, the bar at an old hotel nearby, and a Cafe next door. We enjoyed visiting famous spots in Capernaum and Corazin. It was fun having conversations with them. It's only 5-6 minutes to walk to the Sea of Galilee, an excellent morning walk! Want to visit again!

It's beautiful down to the last detail. The property has a wonderful history as a hospital in the Galilee serving all, and continues that service ethic today. Complimentary gifts were left in our room daily with brand names and business practices promoting peace and unity. The daily buffet is a culinary and visual feast...just astounding. It was our favorite stay in a two week trip of 4 and 5 star hotels.

The apartment is in an excellent location above the Sea of Galilee and near Arbel. Apartment was large, beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Beautiful back balcony. Also had everything we needed for Shabbat (upon request). Easy to get in and out. Host was extremely responsive. Kitchen is complete and there was coffee, tea, and oil, plus a few free drinks in the fridge.

The location of the hotel on the Sea of Galilee offered a breathtaking view of the Sea of Galilee from our hotel room, with the mountains in the background and the city of Tiberius in the distance. There is a large swimming pool which my kids enjoyed swimming in. There is also access to the Sea of Galilee from the property and we saw people swimming in the sea in the morning and evening.

The apartment is close to the Sea of Galilee and many restaurants, shops and stores are around the corner. It is a great start to explore the area around Tiberia sand the Sea of Galilee and to spot the historical locations out of the bible. The check-in was pretty straight and all upcoming questions have been immediately answered by the owner. We could really enjoy the days here.

we are two senior couples visiting Israel for three weeks. we have stayed at Abel guest house on other occasions and appreciate the warm welcome we receive. the location is wonderful and close to the beautiful Galilee. breakfast is substantial and beautifully served. we appreciated the friendliness and assistance provided by our hosts.

We came as strangers and left as friends. The owner made us feel like being home. A spacious apartment in the middle of a safe and quiet area, an awesome pool in the back of the house, a jacuzzi in the front, looking over the Sea of Galilee… Good coffee and always fresh cold water, we loved it and we will come back. Our kids just loved it.

I had a very nice stay at Tiberias, The hotel's location was great for exploring the city, Sea of Galilee and the boardwalk were easily accessible. The rooms were impressively clean, and I really liked the wooden style of the rooms, it added a cozy, sort of country feeling to the place. The staff was friendly and attentive.

We enjoyed our stay very much at this hotel. We had an unexpected upgrade of our rooms. So we had a wonderful view of the Galilee Sea. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the place and it was really nice. It’s the perfect place to stay if you visit Tiberias. Highly recommended.

We got a free upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi. The staff is really nice - when there was any issue, they fixed it immediately. There is a lot of places within the facility to explore (gardens, game room etc. ). The location is also good if you want to visit places around Sea of Galilee and in North Israel.

We've stayed at the Aviv several times over the years and it is a very nice hotel with helpful staff. The room is just the right size and even has a nice little kitchen with the necessary amenities. At our request, they provided us with a room with the beautiful view of the Sea of Galilee.

The view was nice and the layout of the apartment (three beds, two baths) was good. There was a nice, sizeable balcony overlooking the Sea of Galilee. The apartment was fairly close to shopping -- a longish, hilly walk, but do-able. There was a private parking spot that was under cover.

The view was amazing! Every room had a view of the Sea of Galilee. It was extremely cozy and relaxing. Very family oriented hotel my sons were amazed with the choices at the buffet and they loved the pool with a store downstairs for ice cream and cool refreshments.

Everything - location to the coach station and the Sea of Galilee, room was clean and comfortable, great shower, friendly and helpful staff and volunteers, rooftop space, kitchen, laundry facilities, friendly hostel vibe

Excellent place to stay in Northern Israel – one of the nicest zimmers we've been to. The place is clean, comfortable, and the view of the Sea of Galilee from the balcony is amazing. Highly recommended!

the location on the shores of the Sea of Galilee are ideal, the pool, food and rooms are of very good quality. I’m a tour guide and often recommend this hotel and the guests are always satisfied

Fantastic stuff, excellent food and beautiful view of Sea of Galilee, the beds were very comfortable. There is water for drink in the rooms. Good swimming pool in hotel.
