Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... The check-in process was quick and efficient. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Free parking is available, which is a significant advantage. The location is convenient, being not far from the city center and within easy reach of the famous Sean's Bar. I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Surrounded by magnificent parkland and nestled on the shores of Lough Ennell, Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa form a perfect country escape. Great stay, only 1 night but made the most of the sauna. Staff friendly, food amazing, rooms luxurious. Walked the grounds to the pond, saw swans, cows, really relaxing stay.
