There has recently been significant investment in this hotel and it shows; well appointed, spotless rooms, an excellent bar and restaurant, and a great team to make sure you feel right at home.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... Lovely lady at reception. Was a very warm welcoming person and a great choice for front of house. Facilities were great, easily organised things with reception. Good rooms with large mirrors and parking with in view of the room. In the town and yet it doesn't feel that way. Lovely area and would visit again.

Surrounded by magnificent parkland and nestled on the shores of Lough Ennell, Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa form a perfect country escape. Had the Seafood Linguine for Dinner "Compliments to the Chef"! All staff very friendly & helpful!

On the banks of the River Shannon, Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone is situated in the town centre, overlooking the historic Athlone Castle. The hotel has a modern leisure club and stylish restaurant. Maybe a bit modern for our style but very clean and nicely run.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. The breakfast was excellent. Nice and hot and very delicious! Staff greeted us with exceptional social skills and very friendly attitude and maintained this positive attitude throughout our stay! We would gladly return to this amazing location

This luxurious AA 4-star hotel is a haven of peace and quiet, on the beautiful shores of Lough Ree, by Athlone Golf Course. Staffs were very friendly and very helpful

In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. Was an amazing stay, comfortable bed and clean facilities

Overlooking 10 acres of town park, Annebrook House Hotel is located in the centre of Mullingar. It is always a pleasure to stay here, it is like home away from home, Staff, room, Breakfast all great. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mullingar, would never be disappointed

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. Really good location and a beautiful hotel. Good value for money with extremely friendly staff and great food at the restaurant. They catered for all our needs and more. Thanks to all staff who made our stay amazing!
