We did stay there on an exceptional time when it was snowing. What a beautiful experience. Staff were amazing. Dinner and breakfast in asheford lodge was absolutely amazing. Afternoon tea in asheford Castle and the cruise was also one to remember. Amazing!

Situated in Oughterard and only 26 km from National University of Galway, Woodlands Guest Accomadation features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. What a wonderful place to stay! Firstly, Barbara was such a wonderful host and she was so nice to talk to. She makes you feel right at home. The house is very well kept and everything was clean and tidy. Very quiet area too! Bedrooms were well stocked and comfortable. It's a short walk into town with some great restaurants and shops. Make sure to ask about the shortcut to walk into town. Breakfast was as excellent as most full Irish breakfasts are. If you're traveling around Connemara, this is a great spot to stay. Less than an hour to the ferry and airport for the Aran Islands. There's a beautiful drive that runs straight to Rossaveel. Kylemore Abby is about an hours drive. I wish we had time to spend at Woodlands a little longer! When we come back to this area we will definitely look to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was well organised. Our hosts were very welcoming and we felt very much at home. The room was located on the ground floor with garden view. Breakfast was very well prepared. We got lots of tips on what to do in the area.
Cong is a lovely village with lots to explore in the area. The property is well located and the facilities are great. The breakfast was fabulous and the host was helpful, friendly and lovely.

A lovely stay at a lovely location. Close to the Connemara and dome simply stunning spots to visit. Like the Kylemore Abbey, the falls and the sky road.
The house and the room was superb. We felt very welcomed and the breakfast was the best we had in Ireland.
Very clean and organized site. There were a rew bits missing that would have made the trip exceptional, There was no toaster in the campers kitchen & the cooker rings don't heat up, they are old. I put on boiled eggs, left then fir 40 Mins & they still hadn't reached boiling point. Apart from those two things it was fabulous. Staff are very welcoming, bathrooms are exceptionally clean for having such a large volume of guests. I would definitely return.
Lovely villa situated on the grounds of Ashford Castle and minutes away from food and attractions at Cong. Irish full breakfast supplied for 3 persons to kick off the stay.
Phyllis was a lovely host! She gave the best recommendations on where to go for dinner and where to go here local traditional Irish music. For breakfast there were many options to choose from, and it was delicious! The day of our arrival she also gave us apple cake and tea which was lovely! The family room we stayed in was very clean with a huge bathroom. It was an easy drive to Galway city. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay again!
