In 12 acres of lush, green gardens The Boyne Valley is an elegant 19th-century mansion on the M1 road to Dublin and less than 30 minutes’ drive from Dublin Airport. The room was comfortable, breakfast with absolutely sufficient selection. But 2 things I particularly liked: 1) a bar with a really nice red ale and a super good local whiskey by name Slane. 2) Super cool Irish mood in the hotel.

The Glenside is located in beautiful countryside just 2 km from Drogheda and 5km from the beach at Bettystown. There is a bar, a la carte restaurant and free parking. Loved the new rooms done up,stayed here 7 years ago on a trip back from NZ and stayed this time again and was pleasantly surprised on how nice it was looking. Food was lovely, staff were lovely, shout out to Julia for been extra helpful and always smiling.
