Situated in Iboih, 200 metres from Iboih Beach, Santi Garden Bungalows features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Great value, cozy rooms and santi and robi were so very helpful. Highly recommend staying here :) robi is also able to rent scooters to those who want. Looking forward to coming back

Set in Bukit Lawang, Sahnan Guest House has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, and organising tours for guests. There was nothing not to love here. The property was clean and well-located, the staff went above and beyond for us by helping us organize rides and activities, the bed was quite comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was tasty and cheap. With the river running by so close, it felt like we were staying at an alpine lodge! The family running the guest house is extremely kind. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. Make sure to bring cash with you, though. As of writing this it’s a cash-only town with the nearest ATM about 7km away.

Perfect stay if u visit Bukittinggi..this place is surrounded around paddy field..and i love the garden..bed was super comfy like 4 stars hotel bed..the breakfast was excellent..i love the avocado toast..everything was perfect, the staffs are helpful..love would to come again

Sam's Bungalows And Treks has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bukit Lawang. The accommodation features room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. Sam is an attentive and friendly owner and his staff are excellent! Pipie his main guy was always there to chat and help plus he played Rummikub with us at night! The restaurant was very good with a great selection of food with amazing value! They booked out car from Medan and gave a motorbike ride to the hotel which added to our experience! We also booked a jungle trek with Andre and Rama as our guides… they were patient and fun to hang with and the provided a wonderful lunch plus we saw six Orangutans with a mom and baby within 5ft! A definite recommend to our friends !

To say we loved Jungle Inn is a huge understatement; we adored and fell in love with Jungle Inn! ❤️ We got there as customers and left as friends. It was our paradise for 8 days and we can't wait to go back. The location is gorgeous, the hotel is beautiful and the people are out of this world, the most helpful, nice and friendly staff you will ever meet. Of course, Jungle Inn and Bukit Lawang are not for everyone. If you expect the luxury of the western world then this is not for you, but if you want an authentic experience with amazing people then go. At the Jungle Inn here my dreams came true: to see orangutans (I saw many!) and to see the Titan Arum flower. Furthermore, we did a river tubing expedition and stopped for barbecue, saw the Friday market, took a tuk-tuk tour of the village or took a walk along the river and went to the Kupu-kupu Garden, the next remote hotel, for a coffee or Bintang. And because the food at Jungle Inn is absolutely fabulous, we took a cooking class! 😁So be prepared for the adventure of a lifetime and you will never regret it! Note: there are a lot of steep stairs. Write them in advance if you want an easily accessible room or need a room with air conditioning.

Our stay with the jungle guide team in Bukit Lawang was truly a highlight of our trip to Sumatra! From start to finish, everything about the experience was seamless and unforgettable. We booked everything directly with them, and it couldn’t have been easier. Yussuf, the very nice driver, picked us up from the airport and drove us to the accommodation, making the start of our adventure stress-free. Upon arrival, the entire team welcomed us warmly, and we felt comfortable right away. The location of the accommodation was absolutely incredible—nestled in the middle of the green and above a waterfall, it was the perfect escape into nature. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was always full of good vibes and laughter. We also booked the jungle trek with them, and it was beyond amazing. Our guide, Wahyu, was exceptional! He shared so much knowledge about the jungle, gave us all the time we needed to soak it all in, and made the trek unforgettable. Thanks to him, we saw 9 orangutans and had some truly magical moments in the wild. The entire team was so lovely and fun to be around—they really made our stay special. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend everyone to stay here and book the jungle tour with them. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Facing the beachfront, Lampung Marriott Resort & Spa offers 5-star accommodation in Lampung and features a garden, private beach area and terrace. Loved the food both at Way Manom and Hana. The personal trainer was nice and very helpful and informative. Loved the private beach and the animal sanctuary,nice outdoor garden area and the pool. Loved the personal touch in recognition for our 20th anniversary celebration, much appreciated.

Elephant Inn and Suite by Sajiwa is offering accommodation in Bandar Lampung. Featuring a restaurant, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. I had gone into hospital and could not check in for the dates I had booked. I was warded for six days, during which time they held my room for me. I was very grateful.

Located in Bukit Lawang, Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges features a garden, terrace, massage services, and free WiFi throughout the property. We are 2 friends in the autumn of our life. We went on the jungle trek and stayed overnight. Our guide, Kinol was so helpful and went at our pace. Are, his outsider carried the food. We stopped at 11 for delicious fruit. For lunch we had chicken, fried rice, tomato and cucumber. The camp on the river was well set out. Dinner was different curries.. Delicious! We saw orangutans including a big male. Different species of monkey and other interesting Forest creatures. Kinol had good eyes. We returned by a raft of big tyres joined together.. Very exciting..

Set in Jambi, The Difan Hotel offers 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. Beautiful small hotel. Very clean rooms with a super comfortable bed and a great hot shower. Very friendly and helpful staff! Great hotel! Highly recommend! We’ll be back for sure!
