Set in Rinondoran, Birding Cottage Tangkoko offers a garden. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. At the hotel, all rooms have a balcony. This place opened only a month ago and it is still somewhat of a hidden gem: cozy cottages that face away from the road and towards a small river and the rainforest, AC, brand-new bathrooms with warm water and complimentary water and mosquito repellant. The breakfast was different each day and delicious, as were the home-cooked lunch and dinner! The owner and his son (avid nature photographer and specialised in birding tours around and outside of Indonesia) are both excellent guides and we saw lots of wildlife in one single day (yaki, kuskus, tarsiers, hornbill, kingfisher, ...) We had a lovely time, not only because of the hotel, but especially because the family who owns the place was so welcoming and kind! Thanks for everything :)

Where do I start ……it’s family owned, it’s fabulous location , kind and friendly staff , fresh and delicious food , beautifully built traditional wooden accommodation, transfers to and from the airport were impeccable, on time and safe, and lastly on the edge of a jungle but fantastic Wi-Fi reception.

Set in Manado's business district, Four Points by Sheraton Manado provides free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant with sea view. Absolutely amazing staff and one of the best breakfasts I’ve seen in a hotel. The rooms are super comfortable and the pool is amazing. It’s right in the centre of the manado, with a mall attached to it. If you keep going left after leaving the hotel to the Main Street you also get to megamas in around 15min. The hotel is a gem in the middle of manado city centre.

Swiss-Belhotel Maleosan Manado Hotel is located in the centre of Manado’s business district. The hotel features panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. The service was great, the food in the restaurant tasty, they have a gym and a large pool, nice view of the city and a reliable driver. In the evenings there's live music in the lobby, which was amazing!

THE LOCATION IS GREAT, NOT FAR FROM AIRPORT AND DIRECT AT THE COAST. STAFF HAS BUILT A 3 MINUTE LONG BAMBOO WALKWAY THROUGH THE MANGROVE FOREST..... WHICH IS LOVELY AND IF LUCKY CAN SPOT TARSIERS, AT THE END A JETTY FOR SUNSET AND THEIR PRIVATE BOATS. WE HAVE SNORKELLED AND DIVED A LOT BUT WE HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A PROFESSIONAL AND HAPPY TEAM..... THE DIVE TEAM EVEN INCLUDES A FREE-DIVER WITH SAFETY TRAINING.... ALL IN ALL A ´LEKKERE EN GEZELLIGE´EXPERIENCE (ERVARING)....... OH YES ALSO GREAT LUNCHES ARE PROVIDED FOR!!!!

The staff is really kind and helpful, it instantly feels like home. They give you great recommendations to visit in Tomohon and take care of your every need. Also, the location of this stay is stunning (the view is amazing), the garden is beautiful and the houses are very comfortable, cozy and clean. The food is great as well. Just a perfect accommodation to rest and explore.

Staff also very willing to prepare us some sandwiches on a day we had to leave early; very, very helpful and cheerful.

The Sentra Manado has a fitness centre, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Manado. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The hotel features an indoor pool and an ATM. I think the staff at the Sentra are really outstanding! We had some things that needed attention and they were on it right away. The front desk was exceptionally helpful. They arranged a number of things for us. Another thing to think about and praise is the food service. Their free breakfast buffet is truly amazing. Because we visit Manado and the surrounding area about every two years to visit her large family, we have ended up staying in quite a few of the area hotels. the Sentra's food is the best of all. And that is saying something. One thing we often order is the Manado porridge, called Bubor Manado among other titles. The Sentra's is the best! Over the course of our month-long trip, we stayed at the Sentra 3 times. We mad friends with the manager, the chef and cook and sevaral waiters. They treated us like royalty honestly. Due to the close proximity to the airport and some of my wife's family, and the excellent excellent service, we now know where we will probably stay on future visits. One other thing; the Sentra is actually connected to one for the area hospitals if you need medical care quickly. I highly recommend this property.
