Set within a quiet park in Nógrádgárdony, this resort includes a spa with an indoor pool, hot tub, bio sauna and Finnish sauna. Each room has a flat-screen TV and free wired internet. It was just perfect in any sense. The food was good with a small buffet but with a good variety and quality. (also vegetable milk) The places is top clean and comfortable. The park is just gorgeous. The grill evening is just specialy delicious and gives a nice experience.

Szentkút Pilgrim Center has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Mátraverebély. The hotel features family rooms. At the hotel, the rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. This was our second visit this year and this time we brought the whole family. The environment allows you to have a nice small walk or a long hiking trip so it is suitable for both the more and less active members of the family. The religious aspect of the place is fantastic and adds a nice charm to the place. I would totally recommend to stay here.

Surrounded by a forest in a natural reserve, the Salgó Hotel in Salgótarján offers a 24-hour front desk, a sauna and a fitness centre. Beautiful surrounding, nice stuff, comfortable room, fine breakfast. 5 minutes walk to bus stop to Salgotárján. I will come here again.

Featuring garden views, Csenger Vendégházak in Mátraverebély features accommodation and a garden. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The isolation and beautiful setting in nature. Beds were firm and comfortable. Access to kitchen and patio. Value for money. It’s really a 10 except it was quite warm and there was no AC no tan and opening the window allowed so many flies in that disturbed the sleep. If this was fixed (either fan or screens) it would be an absolute perfect place to escape to for a few days. The second night we slept with windows closed and it was too hot. Room otherwise is beautiful and it’s quiet and spacious. Would recommend!
