Great location. The room is small, but modernized. Plenty of space for clothes and other items, including a fridge. Pleasant and helpful staff. A welcome wine was waiting for us and when we left we remembered with small local products. There was also live music twice a week, Greek music and jazz. A really good choice and I highly recommend it.

This is a varied town to visit: we were on a hotel at Garitsa Bay just to the south of the Venetian Old Fort. Just a 10 minute walk into the town centre past the iconic pink building housing the Ionian Academy founded in the early 19thc by the then British rulers of Corfu and the ionian islands. Corfu town centre can be busy and crowded- best to go late afternoon/early evening to investigate at leisure the narrow streets off the Liston. Many tourist tat shops but others worth investigating- plenty of good quality chemists if you need anything in that line! Some decent restaurants. Next time will visit the Old Fort as did not have time on this trip as only staying two nights on way to a vill in the north of the island. Mony Repos villa is definitely woth a visit for the archaelogical artifacts along with the Achilleon Palace (visited last time). Mon Repos grounds extensive and include an ancient temple site...
Cute seaside, great restaurants, a bit expensive. There are only 5 cab drivers on the entire island, so it's difficult to get around the island without a car rental. What the island exceeds in beauty, it lacks in hospitality. The rudest people of the Ionian islands. The lack of customer service trickles down from cab drivers to waiters to beach chair providers.
Simply Magnificent, magical and beautiful part of Ithaka, Ionian islands, Greece
Lovely little former fishing village sited around a small bay with a sunny, gently sloping beach. Perfect for a week's getaway to relax and soak up early autumn sunshine. Clearly it's a popular holiday destination and the main street (pedestrianised) was pleasantly busy in the evenings, but we could always find a good table for a meal or a drink while enjoying the sea views or a spot of people-watching. If you want to be a bit less idle than we were, hiring a car is probably a good idea as there's a fair bit to explore around Lefkada. We were after total relaxation, though, and were content to head for the sublime Milos Beach (two minutes by boat, or 15 minutes by fairly challenging cliff path) for lazy days swimming, reading and sunning. Elena's halfway up the village does gorgeous icecreams, and we also loved the funky little cocktail bar. Fresh fish is good at Safo's on the waterfront (lovely view too), but for atmosphere and great specials we kept returning to Klimataria. This is our eighth visit to the Ionian islands, and for sheer relaxation our best trip yet. We'll be back!
St Dionisios church and the celebration of the 24th of August is something unique for the greek orhodox ceremony.It like as you are in an opera house. The colours of the sea in Zakynthos is unforgetable. The island is small enough, so you can visit many places at the same day.It is a green island like the other ionian islands and the colours of the mother nature are fantastic. If the local people have some better respect of the nature of their home island it will be one of the best European pleces for vacation.Let's hope to act with care.
Beautiful friendly island. Don’t go here for beaches though because you I’ll be disappointed. Kefalonia is close by and has the best beaches in this world. But Ithaca Island has breathtaking views from Mount Neriton and is my favourite place for motorcycling in the Ionian Islands if not all of Greece.
Ayia Evfimia
This place is amazing, if you are visiting Cephalonia, you must be there. The apartment is great, big, great shower, and has an incredible view of the sea. There you can find by walk supermarkets and restaurants (but I need to say that the best restaurants definitely is the Poseidon one, the food is so fresh). It was the best accommodation that I've had in all ionian islands. Thank you all for been so kind and offering a great accommodation. Now I understand why this place has this incredible rate, they deserved a even better!!!

Beautiful hotel, grounds. Loved Ibiza style chilled beach bar sounds with Bali Beds looking out onto the water, charming! Loved the other end with the shallow water. Beautiful clear calm sea and warm enough to swim in. Food delicious every where and plenty of choice for us vegetarians. One of the pools was heated which everyone we enjoyed. Our kids enjoyed a few mornings at the Kids Club which was first class.
All the staff were simply amazing, and the quality of the offering was superb.
Lovely resort 15 minutes away from the main town, with a pretty beach and multiple pools. The views are beautiful and the 3 restaurants all serve delicious food. The breakfast was the best we had in Greece. The room was simple, but very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a very relaxing couple of days at the end of our road trip and intend to come back for a longer stay.

the hotel was in the very center of the old town, with easy access to all restaurants and the main street. we explored the island by bus, and the hotel was very close to the bus station. the staff was wonderful! they helped with all our questions and requests, and were so friendly and welcoming. really made our stay wonderful! also really enjoyed the pool as the weather was very warm

Our stay was just amazing! We had 7 fabulous nights and cannot wait to go back again. The whole experience was made even more special by the wonderful staff - especially in the restaurants - Gaia Restaurant - Peggy, Konstantinos and Eugine - and the fabulous Osteria Restaurant with spectacular food and setting, not to mention the great live entertainment and the truly amazing staff - Noni and Konstantina - who made us feel so welcome and looked after us so well. Nico at the front entrance was always there to greet us with a friendly smile and chat, and Vasslis the Operations Manager made time to speak with guests and it was a real pleasure to meet him. Guests are treated like friends and many guests have returned year after year and we can see why.
The staff was absolutely exceptional. They treated with the upmost kindness, and took special care to make my birthday special. The breakfast was out of this world. My room was immaculate, and they were extremely thoughtful and upgraded me twice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an extreme relaxation vacation.
