Great location right on the beach with lots of great restaurants just a short stroll away. Room was very comfortable and suited our family of 4 very well. Beds comfortable, well-appointed small kitchen and cleaned daily.

We loved our 8-day stay at Villa Conte Rari in the little village of Kato Garouna. You'll definitely need a car for this stay; it's optimally located for day trips in all directions of the island, plus the stunning Agio Gordios beach is just 5-10 minutes away. The kitchen is equipped for simple cooking. And thankfully, the air conditioning works very well! The host is very accommodating and quick to respond.

Everything about this place is outstanding; the location is amazing, the value is unmatched (we had a discount, not sure what it usually goes for), the place is just easy going. It's perfect for a couple trying to get away for a quiet beach getaway. There's parking, lots of local places to visit for food and drink and you can just swim every morning. Idyllic.
In lush surroundings, a 5-minute walk from the beach of Agios Gordios in Corfu, Ammos Bay offers self-catered accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a furnished balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea.
The village is nice, however quite cramped. Parking is a challenge and the centre is busy. Beach is nice and wide, however there is some litter in the village. Municipal services aren't great and this shows.
People are very friendly and open. Views of the sunset are astonishing and on the other side from the beach there are mountains with some nice hiking trails. Restaurants are plentiful and food is generally speaking very good and quite affordable. Overall Agios Gordios is not my first choice at the island, but the views are better than anywhere else.

Very picturesque place with a lot of places to eat and drink. A lot of super markets. The only problem is the narrow street leading to the beach and the absent parking. You have to walk all the way down the hill if you staying at the hotels up there. The beach is sandy with plenty of rocks but the waters are very clean

It is a small village, but there is life out in the streets, luckily not in an annoying way. The street to the beach and the beach are full of restaurants and bars, that are open until midnight. There are a lot of supermarkets as well. You can buy tasty, but cheap gyros pita on the street :D Our favorite night was the Greek night in Romantic Palace restaurant, the staff was very kind.
We spent 2 days on the beach, it is mostly sandy but there are a lot of smaller/bigger rocks, so water shoes are recommended. Every restaurant has sunbeds and umbrella, you can reserve them if you eat and drink at their place (or for ca. 15 euros).
You can find a quite big free parking near the bus stop.

We really enjoyed our visit to Agios Gordios.
We really enjoyed our visit to Agios Gordios. It’s about a 25 minute taxi ride from Corfu town/airport. The beach is beautiful & there are many nice places to eat & ones offering good deals on sun lounger’s & umbrellas on the beachfront. All of the local people were super friendly & welcoming & the service was very good everywhere we went. It was busy but not packed which was nice, we visited late August & the weather was hot!

Easy to access from airport & close to Corfu Town for day out - worth seeing! Lots of restaurants, bars & cafes in the resort, nice beach, some free sun beds or some within a min spend of €15 euros for two - easy to do! Would go back & explore more next time, boat trips available to neighbouring islands. Friendly people.

This is a great little beach town for a nice escape from busy places.
There is a bit of shopping but not overly touristy. I understand that the bus will take you to Corfu Town but I had already done that and was happy to spend my time at the beach and watching sunsets.

I loved how clean the room was and how helpful the people were. I responded to all my questions immediately and they were happy to help with any issue. The buildings looked a little old but the rooms had more than everything we could need during our stay and there was an amazing garden surrounding the building with the rooms and the restaurant. It was almost magical. Also the location of the hotel is spot on. Close to all the amenities, restaurants and bars and a 5-minute walk from one of the best beaches in Corfu. Just beautiful.
The excellent location, with seaview and mountain view at the same time, good size balcony (most of the day in shade), free car parking lot available (for all guests), nice swiming pool with a bar nearby. Restaurants, shops and a center of the one of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu, Agios Gordios, are in walking distance. Last not the least: cool Bob Dylan poster ;-) The host was kind, friendly and helpful.
Recommended.
