We already felt welcome when arrived. Our room had a fantastic view to the beach and we enjoyed sitting there watching the sea and sunset. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Got a nice welcome drink from the bar and some free drinks in the minibar. Breakfast was good too. All in all, we really enjoyed the time with you and thank you so much!

What a wonderful stay at Lagon Life Spirit Boutique Hotel! The staff are amazing - the check-in staff / restaurant staff are so friendly and helpful. I forgot my expensive rain jacket in the cupboard upon checkout and the cleaning staff caught it - and the front desk staff ran after me just in time to return it to me before I got in the taxi to leave. I REALLY appreciated this extra, kind effort on the housekeeping and front desk staff. Brava! I would recommend reading other reviews before deciding if this is the place for you, as although this property is amazing, it will not be suitable for everyone. I LOVED it but it's because I knew what to expect. Other prior reviews to mine capture details on the following: location in the hills with nothing else nearby (although check out Legends Burger joint a 7 min walk down and then up the hill), only cold food served in the onsite small restaurant, noise travelling easily when outside given how closely together the pool rooms are, breakfast served in your suite with no choice needed (it's a beautiful pre-selected feast), shower and toilet sharing a door which is odd as you wouldn't be able to have one person use the shower at the same time someone wanted a door closed for their toilet), and a few other quirks like that. Also I found the automatic curtain opener cool at first but it was so difficult to figure out the various automatic light configurations that would trigger the very noisy curtains 'accidentally' opening at 7 a.m. when someone pressed the wrong button. All of these are quirks of the property which I found easy to manage as other reviews had informed me of them in advance. These are minor because this place is stunning! There is a Hammam and hot tub on site which are fantastic. You can book a private hammam for 25 Euros for one hour which is a fantastic deal and I highly recommend doing that!

Fantastic views to the City of Chania, comfort and great hospitality, we couldn't ask for more. We've enjoyed the pool which is a good size. The rooms were big and comfortable and the breakfast is great. There is plenty or choices and you get a table in the balcony with the views. It's also great to enjoy a meal/drink in the evening when the sun sets.
