Breakfast was exceptional. We got lucky and had free parking on the street. Parking could have been an issue. There was a lift to our room which is not common in this area of older buildings. Easy trip to Conwy Castle.

This sweet hotel was a joy to visit - our very comfortable room overlooked the promenade and beach. We could not have asked for a kinder, more accommodating staff. We opted to have dinner in the hotel - I have serious food allergies and the chef was careful to accommodate them and still provide delicious food. No one could fault the English breakfast (vegetarian-style) and cold breakfast bar, or possibly go away still hungry!

Originally built in 1840, Spilman Hotel is a family-run hotel that offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking, right in the heart of the market town of Carmarthen. The staff were very courteous, helpful and willing to do extra. We arrived early but the reception let us leave our luggage and when we got back from our exploratory walk the bags were in our room...nice touch. Breakfast was excellent and staff attentive.
