The hotel was well placed for ease of access to all tourist sights and amenities ie castle,cathedral, shopping,cafes and restaurants as well as local transport. This beautiful building has kept and perhaps enhanced it's original grandeur. My room was very comfortable,spotlessly clean and all facilities within well catered for. Breakfast was a plentiful affair ,well presented and a full selection to satisfy everyone. I dined one evening in the PMW restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of my meal. The staff in all areas also deserve a special mention who were all extremely friendly and professional

A charming English manor house close to the A1 road. WiFi is free in public areas and food is served all day. We had breakfast there and drinks in the evening.
