Located in Sherborne, 43 km from Monkey World, The Hillbrook Hotel & Spa - Sherborne provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It was easy to find, just off the main road and an easy 900m walk into town and the Abbey. Our room was lovely with a spacious bathroom and separate seating area. We arrived a little early and the reception team kindly allowed us to check in. We chose to only have the continental breakfast but there was plenty of choice with cereal, toast & pastries, fresh fruit, ham cheese & smoked salmon. Loads of parking out the front.

Steve the owner/ “narrator” was delightful and having worked internationally in the hotel business understands the needs of the customer. All our needs were met including a delicious breakfast. Bed is very comfortable and plenty of space for me and my sister. There is also a big fan in the room, which is very handy in such a warm weather. Host are extremely friendly and helpful. They offered to provide travel advice even before we asked.
