The family running this hotel is extraordinary helpful and nice. You truly feel at home with fresh baked cakes and a pleasant conversation. The proximity to the slopes is also a massive advantage - you go through the back door and down to the lift which is about 30m from the back door We had a few issues with the ski pass and skis, they helped us out every time. Even took their time to walk with us to tourism information to sort out our ski pass confusion as tourism information staff were not very fluent in English. Cannot recommend the place enough

Locanda Allevè Hotel Ristorante has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Pragelato. Love this place and the people who own and manage it. They are super kind and have great and taste and style. The food is excellent. The rooms are beautifully rustic and very comfortable. The access road can be a little intimidating for some, but it's really no big deal. You can't stay in a small old hamlet on a mountainside with stunning views if you require a highway to reach it.

It was a last minute reservation as we changed our plans for the weekend and it happened to be the best decision ever! The best mountain resort!
