Booked 2 rooms which were clean, simple and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Kevin greeted us and checked in on us during our brief stay - he was helpful with giving us the history of the location and recommendations for dining and travel. Would definitely stay here again.

Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a wide selection of delicious options to start the day right. Axelle, who managed the breakfast service, was incredibly accommodating and always greeted us with a warm smile. What a wonderful way to start the day! In the evenings, the breakfast area transformed into a cozy space for dinner and drinks starting at 6 PM. What a treat! The barman, Paul, crafted the most incredible cocktail, the “Pomme de Feu”—his own creation. It was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Make sure to ask for it if you visit! The front desk staff, particularly Nasma, was outstanding. She was so helpful, providing great recommendations and always ready to assist with a cheerful attitude. Staying at the Alfred Hotel felt like being welcomed into a home away from home. The warm, friendly atmosphere and attention to detail made our New Year’s holiday truly special. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Nice, quiet typical Picardy town that is close to the Somme battlefields and about an hours drive from Calais.
The cathedral is amazing. I walked the labyrinth (despite its being partially covered by chairs) in the nave, noted the similarity between the golden rays emanating from the altar to the "Iron Throne" on the "Game of Thrones" (ha, power is power). The famous "weeping angel" from the 17th century (which appeared in literature about he Great War (WWI), since this is near many battlefields and cemeteries of the valley of the Somme.Impressive polychrome sculture from the Renaissance abounds and there is a replica of the head of St. John the Baptist (the original one from the 4th Crusade having been lost). Wonderful little family restaurants with typical Picardy food, such as the "Ficelle picarde" (crepes, rolled up with ham, cheese---sometimes mushrooms---and baked in a cheese sauce)--yum! Add a nice, refreshing kir with cider as aperitif and life is good. The walk along the canal was lovely, too. I had only a full day to explore; not enough. Didn't get to the Jules Verne house or the beautiful gardens near it.
We booked Hotel Picardy as part of our journey to northern Italy. We arrived to convenient parking, a friendly welcome and a very clean, nicely presented, comfortable room. It was everything we needed. I would like to say, for what we expected, the hotel exceeded our expectations on the restaurant front, with good service and good food. Staff were lovely, efficient and helpful. We would definitely use them again.

It was difficult to find the property as it is not marked as being part of the Picardy hotel. We stopped at the hotel to ask how to find what we thought was a separate business.

We reserved this place for two nights (weekend). It was good and relaxing. We saw a few things that is good to know before reservation because the description in booking is a bit different. 1. This hotel has amazing staff you can ask whatever you need to know and they are available always. 2. If you have an electric car you can charge it for free 3. We reserved junior suite and understood this hotel has a base on top of the hill and the rooms are spread in the area, for us was about 4 mins walking. But consider if you want to use jacuzzi you have to walk with rope, or if you want to use restaurant for meals it needs walking 4. For breakfast you have the option to eat in the room free of charge which is good. 5. In the description of the Hotel you see that a price is mentioned for lunch and dinner, but it’s not true. You pay for whatever you order and there is no included lunch or dinner 6. We had dinner at the restaurant, the quality was ok but if there are a lot guests at the restaurant expect a good amount of delay. For us they forgot about one of our order and we received it very cold and late, but the manager brings a new hot one and even excluded it from the final price. 7. On the booking page says it has a gym but the nearest gym is about 5 km. 8. One of our facilities in the room was mini bar but there was no fridge in the room. At the end we didn’t get if it was broken and they removed it or the facility list on booking was wrong. But we asked for ice to have cold water and they provided with bucket of ice 9. There is a damp smell in the room that makes sense because the hotel is close to the sea.
The location is beautiful right on a gorgeous lake absolutely full to the brim with wildlife such as swans, ducks, heron, beavers, and more. The water park is awesome with fun slides for different ages, wave machine, lazy river, rapid river, and a play area with slides and another for very little children. The kids loved it in there. They also loved the indoor golf, the Jeep safari and the Pony rides. There were a few outdoor play structures and the beach is also very nice. The food at the restaurants was good but we ate at the lodge more often for convenience and frankly greater choice from home cooking.
We stayed one night and were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff. The location was just perfect. Close to restaurants and the bay and also ideal for strolling through Le Crotoy. We also enjoyed the varied continental breakfast served as a buffet.
This was booked for a purpose, I love open water swimming and this place had a swim lake - they thought I was mad swimming at the end of September, but it was the perfect way to end our trip away! We were running a little late to get there but a very kind gentleman called to see where we were - 5 minutes away - and waited for us. We stayed in a shepherds hut which was well equipped, warm and had everything needed for the end of a busy trip away.
Nice room with a fantastic shower. Very comfy bed all round enjoyable stay. I love the business rate welcome surprise..! Car charging was also unexpected I didn't realise they had two charging points.
Great cabins, 2 rooms and a BBQ included. Clean, spacious and well located. And you could order fresh pastries daily.

I can only say exceptional, even with the language barrier. I was on my charity cycle ride from Bollington to Paris and needed to find a hotel nearby and I felt I won the jackpot. One of the nicest rooms I have stayed in and I have been to many hotels. Although not strictly a hotel they also had a swimming pool and Jacuzzi which helped repair my weary legs. Loved the fact there was plenty of USB sockets, very much needed these days, nothing seemed any trouble the owner even drove me to the local village to get a pizza. Also a shout out to the young girl serving breakfast, if you ever come to London and want help do not hesitate to contact me.
