The staff did all they could to make sure we had all we needed.

The location is secluded, about an hr drive from the Gorges du Verdon where we'd visited for the day, and stayed of Trigance enroute back to Nice. I loved the fact that it was a Castle, it was unlike any other accommodation experience we'd had in France, just so majestic. It also felt more like a 4 star and not 3 star as rated because of the great service, cleanliness, room size and comfort, restaurant option, and just general feeling of the place. The rooftop terrace was also just amazing.
the location (La Palud) is ideal to enjoy Les Gorges du Verdon area, and all outdoor activities that this region has to offer. The view over the mountain and gorges from the hotel is stunning. the restaurant is excellent and the wine choice is really good. we enjoyed it so much that we had diner at the restaurant every evening of our stay . why bother going somewhere else ? the staff at the hotel was both very friendly and very effective. We felt at home !
Great place to stay at. Good location that is close Valensole, with its lavender fields and the Gorges du Verdon (as our particular highlights). Really nice countryside environment with a fabulous restaurant that is part of the hotel in which we had a delightful dinner with a great view of the valley on a lovely terrace. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area. Thank you!
Les Salles-sur-Verdon
Very basic hotel for 1 night trip to enjoy lake saint-croix and gorges du Verdon. Location is without any dubt a plus, near the small city center. The room was quite confortable, large, although very essential. It was quite hot but fortunately a portable fan was there and helped a lot to refresh the room, especially during the night for sleeping. Shower was ok. Parking is feasible everywhere, also near the hotel.
Hotel's location is perfect for visiting Gorges du Verdon (some 10 minutes drive from hotel) and from hotel it's easy to walk to the Moustiers Saint-Marie centre. Pool area was nice with some good views, but in June pool wasn't heated so it was quite cold to swim. Hotel is just fine to stay at 1 night, but I couldn't imagine staying for longer.
The hotel is located perfectly near the mouth of the Gorges du Verdon. Also only a short, uphill hike to the cute village of Rougon. Staff is extremely helpful and professional, even arranging a taxi service to take our packs from there to our next hotel so we could hike the Gorge without heavy packs. Restaurant also very good.

Apartment has the most beautiful view and the perfect location. Spacious and has everything you need. 10-15mins from Gorges du Verdon, so is the perfect place to stay when visiting. Would definitely recommend and book here again!

The camping house was in the middle of nature, we parked our car in front of our terrace. At night is cool, so there are no mosquitos. It has 2 separate bedrooms. By the reception you can buy fresh eggs, bread, local vegetable, drinks. The swimming pool is 2 minutes walk away.

We got to the hotel late, but, you're in the mountains and from our room balcony you could see horses and mountains and there were some cute kittens playing outside. So nice to be in absolute peace and silence. At night you can see every star in the sky. The room is huge, compared to other hotel rooms in France. There is like a foyer area where you an put any gear and luggage you may have, then the actual bedroom is separated into it's own room. The balcony had a nice table and two chairs. They have a pizza restaurant on property, but we had pizza earlier in the day, so, thankfully, there is a tiny, little town center a 5min drive away. There was a Middle Eastern place open, so thankfully, they had falafels, since my husband and I don't eat meat and we did take away and we bought a bottle of wine at the pizza restaurant and enjoyed our food on the balcony. If you are visiting Gorges du Verdon, I would highly recommend this place. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to use the pool, but I wasn't sure if it was open or not.
