Located in the old town of Besançon, ibis Besançon Centre Ville is 500 metres from Viotte Train Station and both the Vauban Citadel and the Museum of Fine Arts can be found within a 20-minute walk. All of the staff were very friendly. We arrived three hours before the earliest check in time but our room was ready and they kindly let us in. Location was perfect. Both tram lines and many bus lines stop 100 m away from the hotel. Hotel interior is modern and clean and their beds are very confy. They didn't have coffee machine nor instant coffees in the room which are usually available in other hotels but that is a tiny issue. I can truly recommend Ibis hotel for your stay in Besançon.

The hotel is overlooking the valley of the Doubs, the view and the location is nice. The house is clean and there is space in the lobby if you want to spend time out of the room. The hotel has a nice terrasse and my room had a nice big balcony, unfortunately I could not enjoy those places as the wheather was too cold. The bed was comfortable.
perfectly situated at the edge of the old city! beautiful, and short walk into town along the Doubs! parking garage directly under the Hotel (€12,- / night) and Breakfast (€12,-) .. Restaurant is a good option if you prefer not to go down town, although one should not miss the ambience of the city at night!
A good value well run hotel with good size and well appointed bedrooms. There is car parking and Morteau is a good base for exploring the Doubs valley. All staff very efficient and pleasant. Snacks and cheese/charcuterie boards available in bar area.

Great location, walk to old town markets and train station as well as grocery. Hotel is very comfortable, I got the first floor room so walking up the steps was not so bad.

A fabulous experience to return to old style French town centre hotels which offer such a cosy and comfortable environment. So many of these hotels have been lost to the advance of tasteless plastic style hotels on out of town industrial estates. The Hotel de Paris in Bescancon is a true hotel, abounding with architectural and decorational pleasures. For breakast, which is delicious and varied, the dining hall is graciously elegant with a natural wood squeaky floor and on warm days, the outdoor breakfast terrace is marvellous, or for after breakfast coffee. And while enjoying fresh air coffee, admire the beautiful stone architecture. We must all stay in these hotels, in towns, otherwise they will be lost for ever. Car parking at the hotel is limited, however, the nearby underground car park which seems very secure, charged me only one Euro from 7pm to 8am !!
Lovely setting, beautiful buildings, interesting history museum. Great large room. Good breakfast Reception not continually staffed, but staff member became available soon after our arrival to reception desk.

Everything was perfect - very nice place, spent the morning on the swimming pool, the room was beautiful and very large, people were very friendly, ... difficult to find any false note in the composition. We will back!
In a lovely location with views across the lake. Large suite with kitchen/lounge and separate bedroom, bathroom and toilet. Large balcony with table and chairs and two sun loungers. Beautiful indoor pool and spar. Excellent breakfast overlooking the lake.
Location is good in that it's quiet but still an easy pedal from the lifts. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is very good unless you arrive towards the end...
