Location great, on the Loire river bank, against Blois and walking distance from the town centre. Room was good in terms of space and amenities, if a bit "generic" in terms of ambience. Sleep comfort was ok. Very happy with the staff, all polite and attentive to our needs. Hotel amenities lived up to expectations, but nothing great. Breakfast very good, served on a terrace with fantastic view across the river to Blois. Overall, probably the best hotel in the Loire Valley and excellent value for money. Hence our 9/10 rating.

This apartment was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the chateaux of the Loire Valley. It is very comfortable and roomy, with an atmospheric wooden ceiling. It is perfectly located, just a few minutes walk from the town centre and chateau of Blois (while still being a quiet residential area). The private parking is very handy (though tight to get into). The owner provided all the information we needed about getting access to the flat and the car parking spot before we arrived. I would very happily stay here again!

We wanted a hotel a bit outside the town center, with a secure place for our car, and found just that, but we also found so much more. This is a quite family hotel, run by the most welcoming and friendly staff, from the women who welcomed us when we arrived to the owner couple serving us the best French breakfast you can desire. We were just driving through, and stayed just one night, but if you want to explore the Loire valley, Castel Fleuri in Tours is the place for you. We will return and do that!

The whole stay at Nicholas's mini chateau was a wonderful experience. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen (only without dishwasher), a lovely patio and garden with view of Loire Valley only five minutes to the center of Blois. Nicolas is a great host. All information to be able to fully enjoy the beauties of the Loire was provided by Nicolas, which makes the stay really comfortable. Therefore, we highly and sincerely recommend Nicolas place.

This was our second stay at this hotel, we returned with family as loved the first visit so much! The staff are absolutely wonderful and so very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had with the balconies were superb for sitting out on in the lovely sun with a glass of wine! I just can’t praise the food enough here at the restaurant…..it’s the best restaurant in a hotel I have ever come across. Definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return to the Loire Valley soon.

During our 2 week trip through England and France this was by far the best stay! From their dog’s initial greeting and leading us to the entry, the beautiful lodgings, kind staff, thoughtful layout of everything one might need in a room, delicious breakfast with homemade yogurt and baked goods, beautiful park to enjoy right outside, walkable proximity to restaurants and the river in a lovely small town, and an easy drive to enjoy more of the Loire valley.

Despite staying in a lovely chateau, the experience and service was friendly and without pretense. The two-level room was lovely and the grounds were charming...this was easily my daughter's favorite stay during our travels across France. Exposed beams, a charming parlor for a late evening drink, a lightly used swimming pool... if that's the vibe you want, this place delivers. Convenient to the big Loire Valley chateaux, wineries, etc.

Excellent location - literally a stones throw from Main Street in Amboise. very quiet later in the evening though with no disturbances overnight. lovely views over Loire valley and side of Chateau right outside the entrance to apartment Ample sized balcony. lots of little touches such as milk/tea and even bottle wine left out for us. sofa bed was fine to sleep on and main room good too. hosts were easily contactable and helpful.

The apartment is located in the central area of Blois and has a private parking spot. If you stay on a Thursday or Saturday, you can visit the Blois marché. There’s also a Carrefour nearby, making it convenient for daily needs. The apartment is well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay. It’s a great base for exploring the châteaux of the Loire Valley. The host was very friendly and offered a lot of helpful advice during our stay.

We spent one night there during our trip in the Loire Valley. The hotel is easy to find on the outskirts of Amboise, next to the street (but the sleep quality is very good thanks to good windows). There is ample free parking. The staff was wonderful, the room was comfy and clean, rather big. There is also a quaint shop in the reception - with some clothes, scarves, leather bags and satchels - very cute :)

The quiet village with free parking really close to the apartment. Did not eat at the nearby restaurant but the Tabac was useful. Really easy key collection from lock box (perfect after a long drive from the UK.) Apartment was very clean and cosy with a fully stocked kitchen, TV, WiFi and nice bathroom. The apartment was a short cycle ride to the train station and also the main Loire valley cycle route.

We were warmly greeted upon our arrival by Phillip. He showed us to our Studio Apartment with Terrace. Our apartment was well equipped, comfortable and was a welcome respite each evening as we returned from our exploration of the Loire Valley. Rebecca and Phillip greeted us each morning for a traditional French breakfast. Breakfast was served to us in a delightful Sunroom on the property.

Lorraine, who is the current owner, was exceptionally nice. Her English is exquisite, as she lived in the United States for a few years. She and her husband have refurbished this property, where they are 7th generation owners. This was a highlight of our three weeks in France. Come here for easy access to the little village of Montresor, as well as many Loire Valley chateaux

It's a 13th century chateau in the Loire Valley- what's not to love? The main hotel was booked so we stayed in one of the extra houses on the property and it was quite spacious. The infinity edge pool looked fabulous but it was too cold and rainy for us to use. The gardens are probably quite lovely in peak season but not so much in rainy September.

When we arrived after a hectic week in Paris for 6 women growing older, we were ready to be served wine in the garden. it was wonderful. Also I had ordered dinner at the Hotel in advance and it was one of our most delicious meals in France. what a treat to be on our way to the Loire Valley and to have a welcome dinner like we had here.

Almost everything. The location is the best. The apartment has everything we could ask for. Full kitchen equipment with modern electricity machines, Nespresso machine, very clean. And the best host we met. Pascal is so kind. Helped us with any question we had and as a result, we had a perfect holiday in Tours and the Loire Valley.

Proximity to centre of Amboise and good base for visiting Loire Valley in both directions Free parking off road. Spacious living area. Private area to sit outside in garden. No other guests. Helpful proprietor living above apartment. Relatively good value. Plenty of useful brochures on places of local interest.

Spacious, tastefully-modernised room, fresh breakfast and very helpful staff. Very close to railway station, so a very practical first stop in the Loire valley. Easy walking distance to the Chateau de Blois and old town. No restaurant, but very helpful recommendations of where to eat.

Easy to find location with free on site parking. Comfortable rooms and nice linens. Just around the corner from the Chateau d' Amboise. Ate at Brunos, excellent. Very nice on site breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel during a Loire Valley visit, excellent location.

Great location near Loire Valley. Apartment in a 19th century castle with a lot of character. Great park around the castle. Very clean, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. Ample parking. Great communication from host, who works to bring to life this family castle.
