This hotel is divided into 2 buildings from the 18th-century, a former school, from Napoleon III period. The location in the middle of the small village of Azay Le Rideau and close to the chateau is great. The staff, Thomas, Elisa and others are very helpful booking the restaurant for us and assisting. Their breakfast is very complete and a nice set-up. Restaurants nearby are charming. I had a tea break in the afternoon with my son at Biscuithé and it was awesome.

While the breakfast was fresh but a bit limited for our tastes, the hotel's restaurants are highly recommended. Both are an event in themselves. In addition, the hotel's spa is a very cozy place, with a large indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam, as well as many beauty treatments. It is conveniently located for trips to nearby castles if you drive, and is popular with cyclists who take a tour along the Loire.
