The hotel was very nice , large rooms , very trendy design. You could hear only the river nearby and I slept with open windows and fresh air. As I was there I went for diner not at the hotel but at the nearby relais château with same owner and 2 stars Michelin. Was a fantastic experience with a place you can dream of. I was very busy since then so had no time to write the review and tonight I learned with great sadness that the chef and owner had passed away. So sad but he created somehow in the middle of nowhere a dream place. Let’s hope the team and his widow continue to carry the flag to this level!

Ghislaine and Philippe are there, should you need them for help or advice on where to go to and visit around “Les gorges de la Loire”. I knew nothing about those, quite a marvellous find! One of the rare places I experienced where I felt a slight pinch at the heart when leaving in the morning. Thank you Ghil and Phil, as Schwarzenegger would say “I’ll be back”
