The Posada Dos Orillas can be found inside the walls of Trujillo, just 400 metres from the Plaza Mayor. Set in a 16th-centruy building, it has a restaurant, patio and free Wi-Fi. This 500+ year old property was full lof history and charm. It was so close to the walls of Trujillo fortress, within walking distance to the town square and beautifully preserved. Loved our stay here.

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards. Everything. Clean, comfortable, spacious, beautiful. Staff was great. The meal at the restaurant was better than the Michelin meal we had. We will be staying there again as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

I really like the big comfortable bed in my room. There were all the accessories one needed. The only thing I would have liked were darker curtains to obscure the light outside. The young man at the night reception was superb, intelligent, and friendly. Breakfast was very good with attentive service.
