In a prime location in Oviedo, Nuvō Hotel Boutique provides a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. This 4-star hotel offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. The hotel is completely new - just opened a few months ago. So everything is clean and undamaged. The decor is tasteful, the location is great. The hotel is built on an empty plaza that sits above a parking garage and mall - that in itself is not particularly inspiring. But it is just a few minute walk from Gascona, the main restaurant and sidreria street in Oviedo. The staff were all super friendly and gave us tips for what to do in the area. We took a nice walk up the hills around the town to see some of the pre-Roman churches there, which offered great views of the city as well.

Nice staff, clean room, good cleaning service, great location, nice bar ground level, new room new bathroom, and with AC. I requested two single beds instead of a queen because I’m sharing with a friend. They did fulfill my request. No complain. 10/10.

Hotel Villadesella is a characteristic Asturian country house, dating from 1819, set 0.9 mi from the town of Ribadesella. It has a restaurant, and an outdoor swimming pool set in large gardens. The hotel was delightful. We had a superior room with views over Ribadesella and to the mountains (despite the rain!!). Breakfast was lovely....fresh and well presented. We wanted to eat before hotel restaurant's opening time of 8.30 in the evening so went next door for bbq ribs and salad....very good!!

We brought our bicycles and enjoyed riding to the river, the beach, the nearby towns and climbing the mountains surrounding the place. The roads are in excellent condition, the traffic never too busy and the drivers in the area very polite. All the places we visited were very clean and we always felt very safe. We ate our meals at the restaurants on both sides of the river Nalon. The area is one of the best places for cycling we have found in Europe also an excellent location for hiking and sailing, We decided to spent all our vacation time in the Asturias area and can't wait to get back to some of the nicest people we have met in our travels.
soto de cangas was very close to covadonga and the picos de Europa whrere I was going up the mountains in Asturias .....the place was very well located in that area
It is the capital of Asturias, quiet, very clean, very nice town, so much that I forget the great city that is Madrid ' I invite you to walk and walk past the Cathedral, the San Francisco park and reach the street Gascona (The boulevard de la Sidra) and taste a good "Cachopo" ( a big breaded veal steak ), while taking a few sips of this wonderful drink : the Sidra and to finish a rice with milk dessert, fruit of the gastronomic inventiveness of Asturias, land of my Grandfather. And from there you can visit Monte Naranco, Covadonga and park of the Picos de Europa.
Barro de Llanes (Celorio) is a little beach town, not touristy at all, although it is crowded in summer with beach goers and people visiting their vacation homes. There are two beautiful beaches. It was a good location for seeing Asturias and visiting the Picos de Europa. There are also many lovely beaches and hiking trails around Celorio and it is close to Llanes if you need something from a bigger town.
Grado is a charming market town in the mountains of Asturias, with a gentle microclimate that lets palm trees grow and water flow all year round. The people are accommodating and the downtown area is a nice human scale, with a lively bar scene and a Sunday market that fills the streets with all kinds of merchandise and color and freshness. My favorite part is the hiking trails that crisscross the area; Grado is a great starting point for several fine hikes into the mountains or along the river valley. One attraction is a small set of caves nearby, with Paleolithic paintings inside! You have to book in advance and wear sensible shoes, but this little "value-added" makes the town a standout for me. Restaurante Gran Feudo makes a stupendous burger, as well as a platter of grilled vegetables worth writing home about.
The Cathedral and Old Town are worth one day. Don't miss the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias. It is free and a showcase of Spanish art.
The airport was a bit too far on a very busy motorway. Oviedo was elegant a bit like Buenos Aires. Lots of food from Asturias on offer in both restaurants and shops. Close to the dramatic Picos de Europa.
Last day of a brilliant holiday through Asturias, happy to have found a lovely location to spend the last night. Very disappointing though, the lighting in the bedroom (unable to read) and around the reception area with lots of burnt light bulbs. The food ordered in the restaurant was well below par especially the Cachopo too thin and soaked in oil as were the potatoes (oily chips) and as much as I like motorbikes, having one parked next to me in the dining room does not make it any better. We weren't charge for the main course but surprise surprise upon leaving we were given the wrong bill.....a more expensive one. We will not be coming back!!!
We chose Ribadesella because it’s proximity to the Museo Jurassico de Asturias, it’s beautiful beach and ease to get to. Everyone in town was friendly and the tapas at the bars were fantastic.
Villaviciosa
This place is simply wonderful. It's a quite oasis with an extremely friendly owner, comfortable rooms and a beautiful and nicely decorated garden. Certainly one of the best places I could find during my trip through Asturias and along the northern coastline of Spain. Excellent breakfast with fresh local products. Absolutely recommendable, I still regret that the room was available only for one night. The coast is in walking distance (30-40 minutes) and has two very beautiful beaches with a wooden pathway in between.
The excellent apartment has good location, it is very well-equipped, big and clean. There were 4 bedroom in it, we were 4 person (4 men), so everybody had an own bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, has everything you may need. There were 2 bathrooms. We got coffee capsules, small cakes. There were a parking place in a garage, it is not so big, but it was very usefull for us and everybody who arrives by car. It is a great choice to visit Oviedo, Fernando Alonso Museum or other places in Asturias. We loved it very much!
Villaviciosa
We liked every aspect of this truly beautiful rustic retreat. Our self catering Apartment was very comfortable and quiet. The area is rural we were surrounded by wildflower meadows with the mountains on the horizon and overlooking the sea. The three donkeys and chickens were a great addition. Spectacular sunrise and sunset. Maria our host was very kind and helpful. We would recommend this gem if you like this type of setting, Asturias is rugged and beautiful.
Luarca
Everything about this lovely, we’ll appointed hotel exceeded my expectations again. It was my second visit and each time I go I want to extend my stay longer. Every detail of this space is carefully curated with taste and elegance from the selection of books in the library to the wine that is paired with dinner. The hotel garden is magical and the views took our breath away. Hotel Torre de Villademorros is a hidden jewel on the coast of Asturias.
Gijón
The host is super kind and friendly. The room and the shared areas like kitchen and bathroom are cleaned everyday. The hostel is close to the bus station (5 minutes walking even less). It's convenient to use the public transport to the other cities in Asturias (around 30 minutes to Oviedo and Aviles one way; 5 euros for the bus return ticket). The closest beach is a few minutes walking away. There are great restaurants and bars nearby.
Oviedo
We were welcomed by a friendly host who explained everything and provided tips about things to do in Oviedo. The apartment was centrally located and exceptionally clean which is super appreciated! The interior was tastefully refurbished and had everything one needs for a comfortable stay. I was personally happy to be able to use a washing machine, which came really handy after a while of traveling around Asturias.
Beautiful and absolutely spotless apartment with everything you need and more. Lovely bedroom, comfortable bed and pillows, amazing bathroom, kitchen with all the amenities, stylish and comfortable living room, books and folders about Asturias, great activities and restaurants recommendations including places for people with special dietary requirements, perfect location and quiet at night. The hosts are amazing.
Nice quiet hotel 5 min by car to the small lovely town of Cangas de Onis, and on the road to Covadonga sanctuary and lakes. This area of Asturias is really beautiful, so much greenery around! Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. The owner also makes homemade cakes, and I was able to try one of his pastels de calabacin, it was absolutely delicious! Thank you for being so welcoming 😀
Gijón is fabulous. Asturias is glorious. The apartment was very comfortable and modern and a perfect location right in the middle of the old city and right by the beaches. Gijón seems to be off the European tourist radar so it's all residential or holidaying Spaniards there so it's a proper getaway and a proper Spanish experience, quite different from your usual resort location
Absolutely loved our short stay at Hotel La Curva. The location is perfect (5 mins by car to Ribadesella + other sites), rooms were very cozy and well equipped with a spectacular view, delicious coffee/breakfast. The owner is a lovely person and made us feel right at home! We will definitely be returning to Hotel La Curva during our next trip to Asturias!
Wonderful old house lovingly restored into a beautiful, small hotel. It is spotless and every detail is perfect. The staff is warm and welcoming. Breakfasts are large and everything is homemade including the variety of cakes. We loved staying there. The Asturias coast is beautiful and this hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy the beaches and views.
This is in an absolutely gorgeous apartment. It is spacious, beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. The rooms, and the service we received were impeccable and our hostess was so gracious ensuring we had a delightful stay. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The view is fabulous. The location is in one of the most beautiful parts of Asturias and the town itself is gorgeous. And the staff of the hotel is more than friendly enough to indulge a tourist into trying their poor Spanish on them, yet speak fluent English when needed.
The apartment is even nicer than it appears in the pictures. The host was very welcoming and went out of his way to provide very helpful information. The location is central to everything and the apartment building and location is very quiet. I will definitely stay there the next time I go to Oviedo and Asturias.
Welcoming and helpful staff, spacious rooms with beautiful big windows. We came with a car and parked it in their garage, which was a great decision, as later on we didn't see a lot of parking spaces in the streets around the hotel. This was one of my favourite hotels on our road trip around Asturias.

I had a wonderful experience at Apartamentos en villa con piscina privada en Asturias El Marquesau. This was on the top of the list of best stays experiences ever. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed . Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody.
