Lovely hotel in a lovely location, we had to find hotels on route back to Santander when a friend in our party (driver) had a medical condition, so had to stagger our journey back to make it less stressful, so was booked with short notice, and glad we did.. There is a summer time open air restaurant next doors, the town itself was pretty. Good sleep, no air conditioning but didn't expect their to be any - rooms do have heaters for winter. The manager had excellent English (which was an improvement on where we were before in rural Spain). Excellent for a single night stop over. Oh and there is a lift if you have baggage.

This is a gem of a hotel located in the center of town. The staff is very courteous and kind. The rooms are good size with comfortable accommodations. I would recommend the hotel and Cafe Vicente where the breakfasts are excellent!

Nice apartment right in the center of Villaviciosa. Very comfortable and well equipped. Close to everything. Very satisfied and it is right on the Camino. Recommended.
The hotel is an antique house/palace with has been refurbished keeping the old stile but adding all the comforts expected in a modern hotel. Great stay.
