My stay at the Fleet Club Mahrousa Hotel in Alexandria was an experience I will cherish forever. I initially booked a room, which was comfortable and well-appointed, but I decided to upgrade to one of the chalets—and it turned out to be the best decision. The chalet was spectacular, offering luxurious interiors and a prime location right on the beach. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to the sunrise over the sea was pure magic. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to cater to every need. The breakfast included in the stay was exceptional, with a wide array of delicious options that could be enjoyed in various picturesque spots around the hotel—or even delivered directly to the chalet for a more private experience. A unique and fascinating aspect of the hotel is that it belongs to the Egyptian Navy, and the entire security team is composed of navy personnel. This ensured an unparalleled sense of safety during my stay. In fact, I accidentally left my chalet door open for an entire day, with valuable items inside, and not once did I worry. The navy guards’ discipline and professionalism were evident, and it was clear that no one would dare approach the room without permission. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Fakr Al Behar, a 101-year-old historic boat docked at the hotel marina. This magnificent vessel once belonged to King Farouk and is steeped in history. Its name, which translates to “Pride of the Seas,” is a testament to its grandeur and importance. The boat served as a royal retreat, hosting important guests and events during its time. Today, it stands as a remarkable symbol of Egypt’s rich maritime heritage. We enjoyed a delightful lunch onboard, surrounded by the boat’s regal ambiance, followed by an exclusive guided tour of its interiors. Exploring the king’s quarters and the intricate details of this historic masterpiece was an unforgettable experience.

We stayed for fourteen nights and used Every possible feature. We can't rate this place high enough. Everybody helped in every way they could. The cleaning service Was amazing from the management to the individual Workers They go out of their way to help you in any way they can Also , when we use them for laundry , they got Stains out of my dress shirts in a way that no one Has been able to back home. The Spa with the steam room and jacuzzi and steam room were unmatched and also comfortable. The gym was usable.Some equipment should be better up kept but generally speaking it was great. The salt bath Was a great unique experience We have never had. The baby loves playing In the lobby and it is really Big and design to be a nice central area. There is a nice kid's playroom which the baby love. That cost $5 a day. Probably should have been free. Best room service food I've ever was amazing. Probably the most authentic tasting and high quality Egyptian food.I've had this trip. The portion sizes for all the meats were amazing.The fish restaurant can give you take away with great food.That's amazing with the real authentic alexandria grill fish. Prices for everything are surprisingly reasonable Compare to the current market outside the hotel even though you get a deliver to your door. The front desk does everything they could do to help you. The Wi-Fi they give you for free really shouldn't be considered WI.Fi. But the paid version even at four megoodbytes is pretty good Five bucks a day for 2 devices. Free wifi should Be stronger. The breakfast buffet Has The most beautiful view on the top floor With Panoramic ocean And the breakfast itself Is great. The Terrace in between the hotel has a great walking opportunity with peace and quiet, overlooking the ocean without the noise of the city.A very nice feature. Overall end-to-end.It was a great place to live for 2 weeks with a spouse and baby.
