This is a lovely historic hotel right on the sea front. Check in was very welcoming from Passant on the reception desk. She allowed me a late check out with no charge and was very friendly. Rooms are very comfortable, mine has a sea view. The breakfast was delicious. There is a good roof top bar and restaurant with wonderful sea and city views. Located on the sea front in downtown, you can walk everywhere or a short taxi ride to anything you may want to see. Highly recommended.

Set on 350 acres of lush gardens overlooking a Mediterranean cove, Helnan Royal Palestine Hotel - Montazah Gardens features an outdoor pool and private seafront sun terrace. It is a historic landmark surrounded by King Farouk's palace from one side and El Salamlek Palace from the other side. The hotel witnessed scenes from a 100 different cinema movies during the 1960's and 1970's. The breakfast buffet at the morning terrace overlooking the bay is one of the best hotel's perks. Also the Italian restaurant which also has an awesome international menu is more than awesome. The fisherman soup was a great new discovery this time! Staff was very helpful everywhere.
