The room was a good size with a seating area and large bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfy. It was spotlessly clean. There was also a small personal terrace to your room. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was first class. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, these were the nicest bead rolls we’d had on our road trip and the little pots of oats were divine. Will definitely be back, even if to just eat that wonderful risotto again.

This hotel is beautifully located at the Windgfällweiher lake in Feldberg. The Köhlerei am See offers free WiFi, free rental bikes and a restaurant serving regional specialities. We had a wonderful stay here! The room is very nice, spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. The view from the terrace is one of a kind. Breakfast buffet is extensive and dinner is very good. The staff was very friendly. As a cherry on top you can reserve the sauna for free as a guest every day which was the perfect end to every day. We went for a skiing trip, the drive to the ski slope was about 10 minutes. You can also have a super nice walk around the lake across from the hotel. Thanks for having us! We will be pleased to come back.

It is rare these days to find a fine hotel with an excellent restaurant. The room was immaculate clean, and with very nice modern decor inside a Alp German style building. The food was fantastic with an excellent choice of wines, including local ones. The staff, super friendly and full of good energy.
