Bella Vista Ranch Ecolodge is located in Turrialba and has a garden, terrace and shared lounge. Featuring a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Marc and Annabella were amazing. we were the only people around and they offered an upgrade. they prepared excellent food in the evening and the morning. the house was excellent, with brilliant views (due to the bad weather the first day, we did not have a clue). a fantastic experience!

It is not fancy, but the solitude of the town of Orosi makes this a special place away from the traffic and congestion of not far away Cartago and especially, San Jose. There are roads in the region which would allow for driving to much of the Country and eliminating San Jose and its’ traffic entirely; spend a few days and relax at Orosi Lodge and then drive a rent a car for stays in other parts of Costa Rica, especially the Caribbean Coast and the Southern Pacific Coast. Andreas and Connie, the owners of the Lodge, are extremely helpful with recommendations. The rest of the Staff there is very friendly and a great breakfast is available, if you want. In addition, there are many inexpensive restaurants within walking distance. Don’t miss the Spanish Colonial Church in the center of town built in the 1700s.

Situated in Cachí, 6.6 km from Ujarras Ruins, Hotel Boutique Casona del Cafetal features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This place was absolutely breathtaking!! We went for my fiancés birthday! We could not have picked a more beautiful place to celebrate!! The coffee plants were not only on the property, so we could see them up close and personal, but also served with our delicious complimentary breakfast! Delicious, freshly roasted Costa Rican coffee! I can not recommend this place enough…. Everything, including the bathrooms were beautiful!

Located in Cartago, 14 km from Jardin Botanico Lankester, Coffee Pickers Village By Hacienda Orosi provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property was beautiful, staff friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect but the lack of fans , a/c or privacy. Rooms we spacious and the thermal mineral pools heavenly

The best 2 days of my week vacation in Costa Rica. If you go with the mindset of adventure, disconnection from internet, camping style you will have a blast. This is a team of guys that do everything for you. They drive you , they cook , by the way excellent typical food, they are your rafting and adventures guides , the photographer, they eat with you and tell you stories and history of the place , the fauna , and flora etc, The experience is amazing ! Arturo , Fernando Negro and Jesus Andres were the best. Thanks for an amazing 2days

Located in Cartago, 14 km from Jardin Botanico Lankester, Hotel Cabañas y Mirador Secret Garden CR provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Everything was as expected. Spectacular daytime views of the valley below. Beautiful city lights view at night. The cabins were very nice, staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was vey good. We were there to go see the Irazu Volcano. The drive to the volcano was about 25 minutes up the mountain. Great location to go see the volcano.
