We are very lucky to have travelled to many countries and of all the hotels we have stayed in, Noah's Forest is by far #1 for us - it is luxurious and relaxing without being pretentious or feeling exclusive only to people of a certain economic status which these days, is incredibly refreshing to see... The hotel, facilities and rooms are of course all beautiful however it was the staff that really made our stay as wonderful as it was. When we arrived, the lady who first checked us in and the gentleman who later helped with all of our queries were so welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed a hand with - they really are world class. Steven & Dylan in the restaurant and bar were both wonderful too. Each of them at their respective jobs, were attentive, friendly and engaging, taking the time to chat to us, offer their suggestions on the hotel, food, drinks and also local area tips. Usually we don't use hotel restaurants but again, they were so welcoming that we loved spending time there. Even the housekeepers, groundskeepers,kitchen and maintenance all took the time to say hello every time we passed and the gentleman who was checking for litter, when we checked out even took the time to show us where the sloth was sleeping and let us use his binocilars to take a look. It's the little things that really do make a big difference. We will be coming back to Costa Rica again in the furure and will absolutely look to come and stay with you again - in a our humble opinion, a masterclass to all others in how a hotel should look, run and feel. Alajuela
Veldig trivelig minihotell sentralt plassert i Alajuela. Super service fra eierne, hyggelig atmosfære, og veldig rolig. Flott løsning med «frokost døgnet rundt», som passer perfekt for folk som skal reise med fly. Mange gode restauranter i nærheten, og et trivelig sentrumsområde med mye mere særpreg enn den nærliggende San Jose. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit, og kunne godt tilbragt et par netter ekstra her, som base for å utforske området :)
Beautiful property, amazing service, fantastic amenities and access to excisions
What a wonderful place! Friendly staff and AMAZING food. We only stayed two nights but wanted to work our way through the whole menu which is extensive (not something vegans are used to!!) The chef, one of the owners, came out to speak with us and was so friendly. She told us of the history of the place and the great work they do here operating a no-kill sanctuary for hundreds of dogs cats and other animals that have been discarded for one reason or another. The rooms were clean and large. The shower decent and the bed very comfortable. The lounge is airy and whilst the furniture may not be to everyone’s taste, it was comfortable. The pool was clean and at a lovely temperature, cool enough to be refreshing but warm enough not to have that oooh moment when getting in! The hotel also helped us with transport both from the airport and onto our next hotel and there were several guests doing a variety of tours/activities.

amazing stay in TRE house. a real unique experience. if you accept certain contacts with the nature (smaller or bigger dead or alive insects) its fantastic to stay IN the jungle. Outdoor showering is a must do experience. great garden and a real jungle trail within the area. wonderful nice and competent staff. special thanks to Anthony and Andres! here you can see many birds and animals (frogs, turtles, kaimans, and the cute gang of white nose coaties…) restaurant serving excellent wood oven pizzas!

The whole place is great for relaxing and having a good time.
Beds were comfortable. The view to the volcano was amazing from the small deck overlooking the room. The Baldi Springs and hot tubs were amazing. The meal at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

It was a farm with lots of animals! The room was a small wood cottage. Cute!
Amazing location is a bit off the beaten path but well worth the drive. In fact, the drive was part of the adventure and we enjoyed every twist and turn. The tent cabins were rustic but very comfortable. We felt like we were in the tree tops with the birds. The food in the restaurant was rather basic, but they did great given the remote location.
