This stay was incredible and I would go back in a heartbeat. My husband is a little fussier than I am and he would not. The hot water was not reliable and no one spoke English. It was perfect for me. I didn't sleep well but i caught up at the next hotel.

Hotel Las Islas has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and private beach area in Baru. Fantastic beach resort. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and dinners were nice. The bar has great vistas and on the roof there is a telescope so I got to see Saturn and its rings. Rooms have those Japanese automatic toilets which I had never experienced before.
