What a great place! Pretty rustic cabins, a most welcoming owner offering very affordable activities with local guides, animals galore. The highlight of the stay: cute squirrel monkeys eat pieces of banana on our shoulders, a capuchin monkey comes to curl up, eagles visit us. You can even borrow the kayak to paddle on the river to see the pink dolphins! You have to walk a little to get to the village but the tranquility, the sound of the birds and the jungle are worth it! In addition, coffee is offered in the morning. I loved my stay and highly recommend this place.

We felt very comfortable. The owners and the staff were very friendly, nice and helpful. Thank you very much for everything! The hotel is a bit outside the centre. So you have to walk a bit or take a tuk-tuk. That was no problem for us.

We loved everything about this place, clean rooms, beautiful grounds, big clean pool (which was a lifesaver after long hike in selva). Carlos and his team were doing excellent job to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. He organized our trips according to our expectations (we were focused on seeing as many pink dolphins as possible). You can have meals at the lodge or take a boat to Puerto Nariño (5 minutes ride) and enjoy meal there. You can also take a short 20 mins hike (can be a little muddy) to the town. From the view tower you can observe birds which frequent the area. There is even wifi available, not great, but you are in the Amazon.

Situated in Leticia, 2.9 km from Tabatinga, Hostal La Esperanza features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms have a TV with cable channels. Our stay was super nice! The family that owns the hotel are very friendly & welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable & clean. There was a fan and also AC which we could use in the evenings which made everything much easier as it's very hot and humid in Leticia. The room is equipped with everything you may need and very well taken care of. There was housekeeping, which was super helpful, as it rains a lot and it gets muddy so it's easy to get everything a bit dirty. We were very happy with our stay and appreciated the nice atmosphere and welcoming attitude. There is a shop directly by the hotel and the centre is like a 20 minute walk away, but it's a nice walk and not too difficult. The hotel is super close to the airport, which is very practical, as you can just walk directly when you arrive, and it's not noisy. We absolutely recommend it!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and table tennis, Cabañas Yakuruna is located only 6 km from Amazonas River. Free WiFi access is available. I spent a few days here relaxing after a trek in the jungle. The staff was super helpful, providing me with rides to and from Leticia as well as to and from the airport. The restaurant was delicious and the chef was able to accomodate for my various dietary restrictions! I highly recommend Cabanas Yakuruna!

I honestly received best hospitality from him in my life. And I travel a lot . He was so kind and thoughtful and made my stay in Leticia amazing! The place is super clean and quiet! Has everything you need :) Definitely will stay again when I make it to Amazon next time :)
