We communicated very well with the hosts and received local information and advice about tours and local life. Easy to find location in a quiet area and is 15-20 minutes walk from the central area. Very clean room and equipped with air conditioning a very good quality-price ratio. We will definitely come back to this location when we return to Leticia.

Cabañas Yakuruna has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and restaurant in Leticia. There is free private parking and the property features free airport shuttle service. I spent a few days here relaxing after a trek in the jungle. The staff was super helpful, providing me with rides to and from Leticia as well as to and from the airport. The restaurant was delicious and the chef was able to accomodate for my various dietary restrictions! I highly recommend Cabanas Yakuruna!

Located in Leticia, Cruz Roja - Turismo Solimões offers a garden. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This is a wonderful hotel on the North end of town, a 15 min walk to the airport and approx 15 min walk from the port or Parque Santander to see the parrots at twilight. The facilites are very clean (one of the cleanest floors I've seen anywhere in the world!) and whoever makes the beds could win competitions. The AC and fans in the room were incredible after a few days in the Amazon. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, jugo, eggs, bread and coffee. The supermercado Hiper is very close which was very convenient for supplies. There is a military academy and Red Cross office nearby and the area felt safe, even for a solo female traveller. The highlight is the staff - I had one of the warmest welcomes I have had in Colombia, and felt very well cared for by all the staff. The dog Waira is a real cutie. Thank you Hotel Solimoes for a great stay
