Even though right in the city centre with shops and restaurants within the vicinity, room rate was reasonably priced! The staff is very friendly and ever so helpful! We had a room with balcony with a beautiful city and river view! The room was clean and pleasant. A delightful surprise - the bathroom was even equipped with a washing machine....for us to get a chance to wash our dirty laundry after travelling for over 3 weeks in China!! Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). A warm welcome from the staff, upgraded because our room wasn't ready when we arrived. Large, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Free tea and coffee provided. Helpful in booking us an early morning taxi to Tianfu Airport, saved a lot of worry and hassle. Loved the courtyard layout and the restaurant looked great but unfortunately it didn't fit it for us to eat.
